I bought a pre-owned switch about a year ago. And it was honestly, it was better than buying a new one. Not a scratch on it, seemed to brand new actually. And it even had Super Mario Odyssey in the cartridge slot. Still using it today. I guess I got incredibly lucky with that one.

I work at gamestop and would try to make it look brand new and watching this doesn’t surprise me of how a lot of them don’t care about the products. Looking at the joycons I would’ve counted it as defective because of how gross it’s joysticks look

I bought a new switch lite at GameStop and tried returning it (I had the receipt and everything) 3 days later bc I liked it so much I wanted the regular one and they said the only thing I could do was sell it back to them bc I opened it. I bought it for 220 after tax and they said they would give me 100. Literally walked across the parking lot to Walmart and did a no receipt return lmao. GameStop fuckin blows

I bought the lite as well but two days later after much debate it just going ahead and spending that extra $100 for the full experience I decided to return it. They didn’t even ask why and even told me I could just pay for the difference for the other Switch!

DevilKittyASMR went to the customer service part and said I got this as a gift and the person said they got it from Walmart but I want to exchange it for the other system instead but lost the receipt, (if you don’t have the receipt you can only get store credit, no cash or anything.) I know a bunch of people who do this with other stuff lol if Walmart has/had the same item. They usually can just take it back lol. My friend once bought a ps4 from Best Buy and exchanged it at walmart, and I know someone who returned airpods to Walmart but they got a Walmart gift card instead. Idk how maybe their systems don’t catch it? Or the employees don’t really care.

I bought a pre owned switch because the new ones were out of stock. They sent me the wrong color switch and just tossed it in a box without separating anything. The screen was all scratched up from it hitting the accessories and everything was very dirty. I sent it back and now I’ve been waiting about 3 weeks for GameStop to send me another.

Owen Turner Well, here’s why: Per Nintendo’s instructions for the 3DS, you should “always turn the power of your Nintendo 3DS system off before inserting or removing a Game Card”. With that, I thought the same principles applied here. However, again according to Nintendo’s official instructions, you should only “remove a game card only while on the HOME menu, or when the system is powered off”. It pays to read these sorts of things.

With the rubber cover on the neon red joy con it happened to me with my neon blue I didn’t find a way to fix it on google so i just peeled it off but if you do peel the rubber cover off the joystick will work perfectly fine but after holding it for about ten minutes its starts to get uncomfortable. Hope thjs helped you and other people!!

i saw used Nintendo Switch available within days of the launch for 295.00 included the console, power cable, the joycons and dock. didn’t include the joycon grip and the joy con strap covers. it made me wonder if Gamestop opened the switchs and reported them stolen to Nintendo. This way they could make a bigger profit from there sells.

i bought it for 40$ less, and got warranty included, unlike the new models. if i didn't like it i could just have turned it back within a week. models that have been used before normally don't have problems, as they have been going on already for a while

In the past 6 months gamestop has really upped their game. This video is nonsense. He is just jumping on the bandwagon of more popular you tubers to get views. If you ever buy something from gamestop and there is a problem they will exchange it or refund your money no questions asked within however many days. Gamestop gets a bad rap because they totally rip people off when paying pennies on the dollar for used games.

I bought a used one and it was pretty tip top. The only thing was I got a mint green joy con instead of blue but everything works and I don't regret getting a used system.

For $350 dollars on eBay I got a mint condition Switch with everything inside, came with 4 games and Pokewalker for Let's Go Pikachu. It may be the original Switch but it is better than not having one at all.

At the gamestop where im at you can trade in your switch or switch lite for 100 dollars in store credit or 80 dollars in cash.

Bought one for 135 on offer up works great . Best console out there, I one and my main is ps4. But if they somehow brought back the vita where I can actually play my games .... anywhere no problem then Sony would win my heart back. Other then that the switch is the best device ever thought of!!!

After buying 2 used Switches from Game Stop my 3rd was a new one. Both used were the gen 1 I found out. Got a new gen 2.

So should I buy it? They only have pre owned available and I want one now? I don’t really care much about the ‘quality’, but of course I mind if there is a scratch or crack. Is it worth it? So I don’t have to wait for them to restock new ones? Or does anyone know when they’ll restock new ones
