Racing comes with risks. When you race a Porsche Gt3, those risks can be very expensive. This Porsche Gt3 race car lived a long and heavily used life on the track before a very serious wreck. Once wrecked, there was really no saving this Porsche Gt3 race car chassis.
That doesn’t mean that the wreck is the end of this Porsche Gt3 race cars story though. With a massive amount of parts still usable, the Porsche Gt3 still has plenty to give. -I am watching this because I have a 1986 911 RestoMod-Outlaw and have owned a 1968 Porsche 356-A SUPER couple in 1968 and a SC in the middle 80's. -I like the description of the video before the video starts. A little insight into what I will be watching. -How do you get grass or hay in a sealed up motor? -What are you 2 hating about the Porsche brand? -You hate the car for some reason but you got a big pile of parts which = $$$$$ .....no likeee money Mr.??? -I like hearing about the price for the different parts but I probably wouldn't listen again on another video. I am here at the site just to learn anything I can because I like knowing things. NO TO BRAG to others...just for my own knowing. -Vendetta against Porsche. -I think I remember in a previous P-car video you agreed with your brother that you liked Porsche cars.So why is your mind swinging so ODDLY? Gonna be honest, I still wanna see more of the standard Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes. They're the bread and butter for you guys, and I see you still do them, seeing the camaro on the car hauler at the scrapyard. Seeing more of them stripped and more of them looked over at the salvage auction walkarounds would be real nice.

Ive seen cylinders washed like that head was by the valves. I have a good feeling that there is an issue with that head around the valves or seats, being the reason you were hearing far more blow by from that cylider than the others.

Wait - I thought carbon ceramic brakes were for track use. Why would they convert them to steel for the track ? 23:04

Carbon ceramics work well for track use but they don’t last very long and will basically burn up, steel will last way longer and is cheaper to replace so not worth ruining the carbon ceramics

I had already been cut before they got it, and had already been through a wreck, I feel like you would have a really hard time getting it certified again, by the time you went through it and fixed all of the cracked welds and everything else it would be better to just fab a whole new one, they are welded in the car so you would have to cut half the car off to get it out and good luck getting it into another car

none of these estimates count the amount of scrap metal you got. Is it that insignificant that you don't even count it? OR does it kind of wash the other hidden costs of travel, etc. Last I checked scrap carbon price is about $.16 a lb. Aluminum (cast) etc., is a little higher, plus all of the copper. You gotta be way on the high side of profitable there.

Was the roll cage it's self not worth taking out and selling? And goodness, I was dieing with that prank, that was mean but awesome. You guys stole that Porsche. I'm a reseller also but not in auto... yet. I would like to brain storm on options for dead inventory. At some point you just have to either sell something at cost or take it off as it costs more in listing fees than any profit you would make. I have done it several ways but not too sure on what would be best on getting rid of dead inventory. Are you willing to share some options publicly. or otherwise? I'm always willing to listen and learn from other resellers to expand my horizons and maybe find a better way to do things.

Actual race car roll cages are welded inside the car, since they are larger than any opening on the car once assembled so you would have to chop it into pieces to get it out, at that point you are better off building a new one in your car, and with that amount of cutting on it you would have a hell of a time getting it certified again, only value to one after it's been installed is scrap metal price which is not much, when you have a car caged like 85% of the cost is labor for the fabrication the materials aren't very much at all

No use in cutting off trunk floors and quarter panels and good doors? Pretty sure someone could have used that s2000 shell for parts. In a few years itll be like classic cars now. No viable quarter panels and doors to keep cars on the road. What a waste
