Hey VIVIAN I just wanted to SHARE a hack of mine. If you already do this then I’m sorry I just took 5 seconds from your life lol. But those black gloves the rubber or latex ones I always have those in my kitchen. At this point it’s a go to staple at Chateau Kim but put them on to OPEN JARS! It grips so good!!! -Kim

For the sented tea light candles, i suggest instead of burning them, just place them in your kitchen cabinets. So when you open the doors you get the nice fragrance. Once the season has passed put them in your bug out bags!! This way you will have extra candles if you need them. I would however store them in some type of container in case they melt. You won't have a mess.

I used those gloves this summer when we were building houses on our mission trip in Honduras. They worked great and we left all our gloves for all of them to use for their needs. I would definitely recommend those gloves!

The pumice stones are great. They wear down as you use them because they are exfoliating your skin. Normally you would soak your feet in tub or foot tub and after you've scrubbed your feet in the rough tough areas, rinse. They use them at a lot of salons for pedicures. Oddly enough they sell a rougher pumice stone that is used to clean off lime, rust and calcium build up from toilets. Walmart used to sell them.

Don't burn the little scented candles; instead put them in your kitchen cabinets. Everytime I open the door I get the pleasant scent. Mostly I use the wax melts, and they smelled great for a couple years. 👵☮️❤️🖖

Don't use votive candles in those open ones. Votives melt and turn to liquid. The tealights do too but the liquid stays contained in the little cup. Before using a votive candle (in a proper votive candle holder like the glass spider web one shown) put a little layer of water in first. Then you'll be able to remove the spent melted candle after it has cooled and re-solidified.

Hello Vivian from England. Pumice Stone is lava. It has been used for centuries for removing dead skin, they even make them on sticks to clean limescale from toilets now. I am in my 70s and we always had a mouse shaped pumice stone in the bathroom and always used it in the bath when your shin gets soft and it does a great job. It also never wears out, one will last uou a lifetime 😂. The gift that keeps on giving 😂.❤❤👋👵🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The cermaic fall trays are perfect for thanksgiving and potlucks, football parties. Use them in a buffet to place the serving spoon, etc. I also think they would be nice as a center down a table with fall decor sprinkled throughout

I don't use flame candles anymore, all around my apt are battery powered candles of different types. They turn on at different times. I especially use them during the winter, when it gets dark early nice to have some flickering candle light around the room. I am on subscribe and save Amazon for batteries lol

Every $1 tree is different & often shop at all of them when out of town. Have only found those handles at 1 out of 15 different stores I've shopped at. Yes those handles are incredible value for the money

I used to sell candles and their various holders. Learned a lot of interesting things and learned I hadn't been doing some stuff correctly. How it was explained to us was to remember our science class in high school. If you're using the tea lights (smallest) take them out of the metal bottoms and put them into a glass votive holder. They're kind of hard to find. I bought most of mine at Michael's. When burning candles the wax gets very hot, which in turn heats up the metal cups which get very, very hot and they will heat the glass candle holder. It can cause the holder to explode. I've seen it happen once and I don't want to see it again. The glass holders come in too sizes - tea light (which is basically the same size as a tealight) and votive (the same size as the votive). If you don't put a votive candle into a votive cup the wax will muck up the bottom of the nice candle holder. Now, have completely confused you or just a little? Enjoy!

I have found that putting Dollar Tree’s candles on a candle warmer instead of burning the wick is the best way to get the scent from them. Still, it doesn’t last as long as those you’d get from Walmart (like Better Homes & Gardens, etc.) Of course, you’d have to use the candles in glass or put the little candles in an empty candle holder/mason jar to melt it safely.

I used a latex paint on a kitchen accent wall. I had old fabric covered chair I had planned to re-upholster. The fabric was still good, just dirty-ish & outdated. Long story short: Kitchen paint on the chair fabric. Worked great. Used fine grit sandpaper to soften it up a little, not much pressure. Ended up looking like leather. Lol....yeah, purple 💜 leather.

Seeing as I am a professional Master Colorist for over 25yrs. I feel compelled to say. Coconut oil is not necessarily the most effective or even healthiest thing to slather on your hair. It’s actually one of the last things I would use.

Pumice is a rock from a volcano it’s used as sandpaper to remove dead skin or to scrub lime scales away inside your toilet! It’s very harsh! ❤

@ viviantrys The pumice stone is normally used either in the shower or in a bath to release the cast off from the stone on your skin. They actually work the best for pedicures. Makes your feet smoother.

I used the plastic bag things for feet. I loved it! I want to get the hand and foot ones later this week. Not sure if I want the hair one. I might try the roller thing on my knee and shoulder. It's only $1.25, so if it don't work, oh well 😊❤

Pumice is a rock made out of I think volcanic rock. Yes, and when you use it, it’s like sand the falls off of it. But this is the best thing to scrub off those dead skin cells. It’s very good.

Viv!!! I also got nail polish from DT this week but mine had China Glaze and Essie!! They were mixed in with the little cheapo LA colors ones, just look for the bottles with different lids. 1.25 vs $12 per bottle...yes, please!
