Top advice on binning off Crossland. Helped a chum change an MX5 engine. New everything, incl. oil filter by Crossland. Seal failed on the filter and the engine lunched itself. Bugger.

They are such a timeless car, the e36 BMW's. One of my neighbours had a 7 series of that era in that colour, and another neighbour had a compact in that lovely dark blue they came in.
