AJ new mine was a keeper when i had to fix something on a car and first off she said get NEW parts not repair the old ones and then when i had to get some part from a wrecker she rang and told them what i wanted and when told it was only sold as a complete section not the individual parts turned around and told the wrecker her dad a mechanic told her she only needed the single part and it was available separately had the wrecker do a double take and say OH you ment this part (BS) and then sold it to her for less than i could have got it. Also she has a good eye for a bargain our current car which at the time we bought it was selling in Melbourne Vic Aust for A$10,000 with about 300,000 KM on them she spotted one locally for A$7,000 with 178,000 KM so guess which we got LOL. She knows at times cars need to have money spent on them and never grumbles about it we been married since 1982 and always great

My first thought was BMW too! You have to be careful as there is an E36 AMG too in the 124 shape which can get confusing if you start talking about the wrong one 😂

@@houseofno I suggest you Google it, an AMG spec M104 engine is a 3.6 that is based on the 3.2 220hp lump in the 124 chassis at the time. I'm well aware of the E36 thanks and we had it from 1991 to 1999 in the UK. We also had the higher rated 286ps or 282hp engine in the 3.0 with better vanos and individual throttle bodies compared to your North American 240hp in S50B30 flavour. The 3.2 that followed got 321hp approximately. Don't mean to come across like a d**k, just a jokey comment originally about a lesser known AMG 👍

yes I like that comment, I like the column shifter too. Dont have a GM truck at the moment but did have a 97 Suburband and loved it more than the 96 Landcruiser because it had a V8, a column shifter, and 5.7 V8 power, comfy and just a good truck :). Column shifter is cool
