wow I didn't know about stunted growth until now. Thanks for letting me know; I was planning on making a tub for goldfish but now I'm wondering if I can handle them well at all-- LOL. The fancy goldfish in my 20 gal seems like they have stunted growth because I never placed a heater and the filter and maintenance was less than mediocre for a year. I recently upgraded the filter with a stronger pump and started changing water once a week.🧐
@vladimirstojanovic36032 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Heater is not required. Goldfish will live happily when the water temperature is 23 C. We use the heater when we want the young goldfish to grow fast,we can achieve this with warmer water (25-26 C), quality nutrition and most importantly clean water. When the water is warm the fish's metabolism is high then the fish eats more, grows faster and pollutes the water more. Larger understocked aquarium is easier to maintain, goldfish are big fish if there are many of them in a smaller aquarium water quality must be maintained with good filtration and regular water changes.

@vladimirstojanovic36032 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's an algae carpet. Algae are very beneficial for goldfish, they like to graze on it. They have a source of natural food 24/7. Algae absorb nutrients from the water so this is another form of filtration as well. Thanks for watching!

How many times should I feed goldfish?.im having problems because my fish is skinny and didn't getting fat
@vladimirstojanovic36032 жыл бұрын
If the fish are young you can feed them 5-7 times, but you have to do 50% water change every day. The tank must be at the appropriate size. The water temperature should be around 25C. Feed them quality dry and frozen foods and vegetables. If the fish are skinny they may have some parasites.

What do you feed them :) and how often I have a 20 litre tank with 2 of them in at the two week stage like yours exactly same thanks 😊
@vladimirstojanovic36032 жыл бұрын
I feed them about 7 times a day in small meals. I showed in the video what I feed them, with a variety of frozen and dry food. I think you will need a bigger aquarium very soon :) 20 liters is not enough for adult goldfish. As for feeding if the fish eat a lot, you should pay attention to the water temperature and the water must always be clean. No matter how much you feed the fish if the water is not clean the fish will not grow. Learn a little about goldfish grooming,do your research and those fish will be happy :)

@vladimirstojanovic36032 жыл бұрын
@@thesavedsingh Goldfish need a bigger aquarium and good filtration. A few pellets every third day I think is very little food. Just watch a couple of videos on you tube about goldfish care (tank size,food,water change,etc...) , it won't take you long and you will learn a lot.

Fancy goldfish cannot be found in nature (unless someone intentionally releases them into nature which is not good for the ecosystem), they are man made fish. With ranchu goldfish it goes like this, you either like them or you don’t. I love their silly faces the most 😀

🤔The two males will chase her and stress her to the point if death. They really need a separate tank. They will out grow the one they are in within a years time. They can get between 6” and 8” on average.
