I personally would have loved to see a live adaption of Batman/Superman: Public Enemies. That story is about how Lex Luthor became President, and after framing Superman for assault, puts a billion dollar bounty out for him. This draws countless characters out of the woodworks. From the likes of Dr. Freeze, to Lady Shiva, to Giganta, we see a lot of villains come out in search of the bounty. Could have introduced suicide squad characters in there. They could have shown off Batman actually using his detective skills to figure out what Luthor was up to. We could have seen Batman fight Solomon Grundy, Green Lantern, Katana. Dc’s movie history frustrates me so much because they have the stories. They have wonderful source material and they use none of it.

Justice League was two different movies. Both were interesting, and I wanted to see more of each style, but the two parts didn't fit together at all. Was Aquaman a troubled guy who downs an entire bottle of hard liquor before swimming or the lighthearted guy who sits on the lasso? Was Cyborg a man fighting with an otherworldly computer fighting for control or a "team player" character who exists only to be the "glue" to hold parts of the story together? It spent 30 minutes setting up interesting character and then morphed them into entirely different characters when they went into action. They should have either kept the Snyder cut or just had Whedon start over from scratch so we just got another Avengers movie. This halfway stuff ruined the final product.

I just loved Ben Affleck's portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman, people fail to realize his comic book incarnation was based on DKR, due to his age midforties coupled with his nearly twenty years of crime fighting, plus in BVS he was for all intents and purposes the villain until close to the very end, you can say what you want about Zach Snyder as a visionary filmmaker but he has balls the size of Texas.

This movie could’ve been great but DC rushed it too much. They should not think about marvel when creating films. They should’ve continued the films of each character than joining them together earlier. And since they showed that there is a green lantern, end credits should be hal jordan scene or something.

It wasn't rushed, the creators weren't allowed to make the movies they wanted to make because executives started meddling with production. I don't think they were looking at Marvel that much, executives were looking for a hit movie and forced production in stead of letting the creative minds do their jobs.

@@My_eyes_hurt Joss Whedon helped on Justice League but apparently he was micromanaged instead of allowed to do what he wanted. When you hire someone like that, you can't tell them what or how to write if you want something that will be insta-classic like Firefly or the first Avengers movie.

Manu 06 Isn't it ironic? DC animated films were story driven and built the characters over time... Marvel animated would be rushing with no mind to substance...i think most fans THOUGHT the DCEU and the MCU would be reflective of their animated brethren in approach...all comics are story driven... All comics have the intent to build up their characters bcuz the idea of the 'character arc' is inherent... But ironically MCU took the substance route while DCEU went for the flash (pun intended)... I'll a huge fan of both companies but once the comic book characters changed hands from their medium to the hands of studios, they forgot where the material came from and forgot what made the material what it was...MCU is far from perfect... Iron Man 2 and beyond basically veered away from the heart of the first film and the character was only redeemed in the latter avengers films and Captain America wouldn't have depth if the Russo brothers had not made Winter Soldier (and the latter avengers films for that matter), but DC dropped the ball

This is exactly why Justice League Dark Apokolips War was actually good, even though it followed a rough story of what was supposed to happen in the live action movies, it had the character build-up that meant even being what was intended to be 2 movies compressed into 1, we didn't lose much substance.

I loved the dark theme from bvs. This tone didn't suit the DC characters . There shouldn't have been limited to no jokes , it just doesn't look good on serious/ great depth characters like these ones

All DC characters are not dark Batman,Wonder Woman and Cyborg are the only Justice League characters that are Dark others are always lighthearted but not stupid like marvel characters there is a limit to how much comedy is needed and the comedy was just as much it was needed they were not cracking jokes during fights they still made fights look serious as they had stakes on the other hand what marvel does is just put stupid jokes in every moment which makes the whole movie feel like a comedy show

Snyder had an explanation in his version of the movie, but WB/Whedon cut out the scene. Basically, from the rumors, Lois/Clark told Perry the truth and Perry was going to help them cover it up for the general public.

You never understand just how much of a powerhouse Ben Affleck really is until you see Henry cavil and him side by side 0:36 I’m not surprised that this Batman went against Superman toe to toe and almost won. I mean heck when superman was reduced to a normal human’s strength, batman was just toying around with him.
