Good buy I got mine in basically same shape did both VC and timing myself now it runs good. Did all maintenance the car is awesome!

nice find! my 2.7 A6 is going on 250k. Valve cover gaskets aren't too too bad its when a turbo goes where the bulk of the work comes but once I pulled my engine and installed k04s i did the rear main seal, slave cylinder, water pump, thermostat, and timing belt, engine mounts and every other annoying little thing, it hasn't given me a code or left me stranded once in 80,xxx km. nothing better then dailying 450hp of Quattro. hope to see the build come along on your channel!

Glad to hear your engine is still running strong! I was actually informed by the previous owner to do exactly what you have mentioned in your comment. 450hp + quattro must be heaps of fun haha

For a manual s4 that is a deal. My automatic with broken 4 and 5 gear cost $800 🧐

Man I thought I got lucky paying only 1500€ for my 1.8T Quattro but 1000$ for an S4 is insane..

On the bright side your 1.8T is much more reliable!

@@Azizdesign_ Yeah ok. But if you were to restore yours to a good condition. It would still be cheaper then the cheapest S4 in Germany (on the Internet) right now.. 😄
