Hey, Crypto when you opened the domino.exe folder it said file origin Removeable media on this computer and the pop up for it wasn't a firewall it was a user account controller pop up and I'm thinking that you removed the hard drive by accepting that and removed the media from that computer. That's just a thought I'm not certain about it though.

What made the drive empty was the ransomware, because ransomwares encrypt files it had to popup the format because it changed the format of the drive while moving the files.
