To those who have ever knocked AMF built Harley Davidsons.... Be rest assured that everything on this bike is made with the least costly materials possible and the lowest quality build standards known to humankind, including the frame and "swingarm." The only safe engine to swap on it would be made by Briggs and Stratton, if even that.

as someone who drives a truck and worked in a automotive production line. i can tell you why that battery is taped to the top of the box is because of how roughly that crate will get treated. if it were on the bottom it would be at increased risk of getting hit by some forklift forks. or other such hazard while being moved around or having things moved around it.

This is a Frisco style chopper (children's size). They are built narrow (hence the weird location of the front blinkers and the narrow bars) for navigating the narrow and crowded streets of SFO.
@kmoecub2 ай бұрын
The style emerged in the early 60's, and was not anything other than a style exercise. The streets were nowhere near crowed then, and the original Frisco style used a hand shift; not at all friendly to riding in traffic.
@jenniferanne4143Ай бұрын
Using a hand shift wasn't a style, it's how all the harley's came, till during the 50's when they began putting "mouse trap" foot shift external linkage on them. Actually during the 50's & 60's, what was custom cool to do was put a custom "mouse trap" on the older bikes. You see, because at the time, the British bikes had foot shift and were winning the races, so custom Harley racers began building homemade "mousetrap's" for their bikes. Halfway through the panhead run, Harley caught on, and they began coming with an external "mouse trap" foot shift conversion set up. So anyway most young bikers couldn't afford a new Harley at the time, so many bikers just rode them old pans with the stock hand shift, or they put a smaller gas tank on it for looks and cut the hand shift down to a jockey shift. But, yea, hand shift was stock on the older ones, and building a custom "mouse trap" to convert the bike to a foot shift like the race bikes was the custom thing to do back in the 50's.

The frame looks like a clone of the 80's soft tail frame. Right down to the unused mid control mounts. The slip on looks to be $79 J&P Cycle pipes. Literally most of it is old school HD chopper parts with an undersized rice burner engine. Good luck Sean, you'll need it.

The lights and plate location is because they aren't sold with a real title, it's basically an MSO and the individual registers it or the dealer who imports them does. Basically it's sold to you as an off road vehicle and up to you to make it compliant for your state/country. The sissy bar IS a legal position for a plate in the US however. The D.O.T marked mirrors back that up, means the bike isn't type approved for the US market so it doesn't get registered before shipping to the US. As for the Sissy bar, it's simple and old school, fold a jacket or sit on the bare fender, it's not that bad and it's what was done back in the day. Pick up a girl at a bar and they fold their jacket or just deal. Now, I'd just get a magnetic pillion pad and throw it on when I needed one.

Hi there! I really dig your content, keep ‘em comin’! I just wanted to mention - I started riding in 2019 and have really been enjoying my experience on two wheels, since then. When I started looking for motorcycles, after completing my MSF course, I was really looking forward to purchasing a 600cc or above for a first bike, but did a bit of research and figured I should really learn the principles of riding on a smaller engine. So I ended up financing my very first Honda cb300r. Since then, I’ve had a Triumph Street Triple R, then I traded that in for a Triumph Speed Twin 1200 and then traded that in for a Kawasaki klx300 super moto. I kinda came around full circle (being back to a 300cc) all that to say that I really enjoy being on two wheels and enjoy riding all types. Point being, I’ve always had to finance a motorcycle through a dealership (and trade-in) and well, I’ve kind of come to the point where I don’t think I will want to continue doing that anymore. So I’m going to be saving up and try to pay cash for my dream bike - yes, you guessed it, a gsx-r 600. Anyway, I was wondering if you are doing any giveaways on a gsx-r, anytime down the road? Just curious. Anyway, I appreciate the time and effort you put into making your content. It’s entertaining, educational and honest. 👍

Yep, I missed that too since most of those manufacturers only at best if they put any oil in them its a shipping oil that will tear up the engine and transmission pretty quickly if you run them on it. Even if it did have real motor oil in it after sitting since 2002 that oil would have separated over a decade ago and would need to be flushed out with a few fills and drainings of kerosene plus if it actually has an oil filter and not just an oil screen that filter has long been junk and also needs to be replaced. Any foam air filter or pre-filter after 22 years is also compost by now. Best!

We've learned that the hard way over the past 20 years dealing with their Honda, Yamaha and Minarelli Clone Engines. Everyone I know who's bought a Amazon Rice "Rock" M/C has had nothing but trouble with them. Like a Rock, they roll best when going downhill. Remember this cause most of the time you will be rolling/ pushing them, not riding. Many won't even start/run when first unboxed. Parts missing and/or broken, more will break or fall off soon. Exact replacement parts non-existent so modifying/fabricating skills will be tested. Or like Pet Rocks, they'll end up sitting somewhere collecting dust. Therefore I compare buying one of these bikes to buying a Basket Case bike. An expensive project that someone else started, then wrapped and boxed up. You'll now need to go through and redo virtually every inch of before you end up with a reliable ride. Good luck with that.

Ironically, a buddy of mine feels the same way. That is about PA/TN. He builds custom valved shocks for bikes. Mainly dirt jumping applications but he can do anything with a damper.

Hi Sean you probably won’t see this but I still wanted to tell you that you are my idle I’m in high school and because of you I decided to take up automotive as a trade so that I could one day own a car truck and motorcycle dealer ship / service center and I want to be like you I love watching you and the bearded mechanic so much keep up the good work thanks

Hey man you picked a beautiful path under God, and you role model after a gentleman with class and taste in motorcycles. You will go far kid, just keep climbing and keep praising the Lord. I'm glad folks like you and bearded biker gang exist, y'all show that the holy Spirit is here with us!

i used to have a Kymco Venox 250cc cruiser/standard motorcycle and I believe that I read somewhere that Kymco motorcycle was the builder for Honda motorcycles back in the day. Maybe like history repeating itself.

In missouri we don't, legally, need turn signals. No front brake or mirrors, either.

Bosnian here: Naja doesn't have any meaning. "Najbolji" (masculine) means the best, and the abbreviation for that is "naj". Anyway, how the hell do you know of Bosnian language? Thanks for the cool videos! 😊

$7000 will get you an excellent used motorcycle from almost every major manufacture. And some new models too. Cool looking little bike though. I saw a 1995 Goldwing with 70,000 miles on it for $1000 today on Clist. Now it's in my garage.
