A Cricut also draws for you, but it also cuts fabrics, even very thin leather, perforates palate, cuts paper, and has many MANY different tools that you can attach to it. We use it for early prototypes of clothing for our small company to see how different designs will look before we add them to our little boutique store. It’s satisfying and something I could totally see you reviewing.

I’ve had one of those apple coring slicers since I was a kid. They’re certainly faster than a knife but they’re a big pain to clean and the blades never go to the bottom because of the plastic frame so the apple doesn’t get cut at the very bottom. Also getting the slices back out and especially the core can be a pain too. It’s faster and easier but not necessarily more convenient.

Same here ! Just made same comment. ( 40+ years of Apple slicer usage. ) Tips - Cleaning - use a Stiff long handle Brush to clean it ! Available in any Groc store. I just figured that one out. A sponge is a pain. Your right. 2) piece removal - break core sideways to remove. Do not pull straight up. Same with pieces. Very Fast if doing alotttt of apples. Wash / rinse immediately after use for easiest cleaning.

You back the apple out of the slicer and rubber band it closed to keep the air off. Sliced but doesn't go brown as fast. At lunch/snack time, unband and tear off your slices.

I've worked in a restaurant and we had one there and at home. It was easy to clean an super satisfying all the time:D Not every one of those are terrible to clean, just pay a few bucks more and get a decent one!
