if you want a completely spill proof cup try brumate, they make everything from wine cups to coolers. my family has been using brumate for years now and they still get the job done if your brumate leaks then its not a bad product that just means it may have been damaged. my parents got wine cups and one didn't work because the seel was broken.

The brush that you were supposed to get had some reviews of it not working and the brush yo got had many positive reviews so aside from you paying 15$ more, i’d say its a win!!
