I work in manufacturing and was just at a plant that makes the dupe bum bum cream. You really get what you pay for. They may use cheaper materials but they are also slacker in how they process things - less cleaning, less testing, less controls in general. some dupes I would go with, some I would stay away from.

Yes, the brand name of the Brazillian Bum Cream smell lasts all day. It is a great product, but to save on that expense, I do purchase the knock off and mix it with the name brand. Don't waste the dup. I am a mixologist of many things. This keeps you from waste on purchases. I love your videos Vivian!

When Febreze first came out, the GM of our hotel was sent a sample to try. Landscapers had just laid mulch in the courtyard, and he thought it was a good idea to see if Febreze would cover that stench. I will always remember the odor of "pineapple poop" that was the result of that experiment. When it comes to off brand scents - knock offs of Febreze, aerosol sprays, automated sprays, plug in scents, etc. - the biggest difference I find is the longevity of the scent.

Walmart brands are sticklers for making products as similar to the OG as possible. As someone who worked in QA, I can tell you that Walmart parameters are different than other “off brands” and are exceptionally strict.

I’m 60 and into the crepe era 😢 gold bond crepe makes a slight difference IF used daily. Instead of febreeze I use downy wrinkle release. Takes out wrinkles and smells great too! I’m an ESL teacher and get lots of hugs from my elementary kiddos. They comment on how good I smell since they are waist or mid high. Thank you. ❤

sadly the biggest downfall to all the sol de Janeiro products is longevity, they all smell amazing but none of them last more than a few hours, I even plunked down $34 for a travel spray of the cheroisa perfume thinking it might last longer than the body spray and it didn't.

I bought a 2pk of that dupe bum bum cream from Costco earlier this year for $20. It's not a walmart created dupe, it's made in Canada. It's a light almost whipped body butter cream with a very mild scent that doesn't last long at all. To me it smells of lightly toasted coco butter which is pleasant so, overall, a really great product!

I’ve seen many people say that eye creams are a scam, and I am inclined to agree, except when it comes to caffeine eye creams. Those absolutely make a difference. I’m also excited to see that there is a dupe for Liquid IV. It does work well, but it’s so costly. I’m definitely going to try the Walmart brand next time.

Tree Hut Tropic Glow is another dupe for Bum Bum cream. It's $10-$12 depending on where you buy it. It's thinner in consistency, but smells almost identical.

I actually purchased the $48. I have no regrets. My skins is so soft and the scent does last many hours. No greasy residue. When I did my purchase with the brand I got a 2nd jar and samples free. It was a promo. I had no knowledge that Walmart had a generic brand.

The thing you need to understand about Febreze is that it does not “take away” odors, it affects your ability to smell. Overuse of this product can cause permanent damage to your ability to smell anything. I know, because it happened to me.☹️

The Brazilian BumBum cream is amazing! I have bought so many of those containers it's ridiculous! The cream alone won't last the entire day, but if you layer it with the body spray or the perfume it does! And yes ma'am, I said perfume, that exact scent in a perfume!!!! It's fabulous! I worked in critical care (ICU) for 35 years and would NEVER give a family or myself an electrolyte hydrator for the general"I don't drink enough water" BS....People's kidneys will not be thanking them after years of consistent use. Products like Gatorade are also included in this trash pile. Infants who are throwing up or have diarrhea are different and need Pedialyte. Infants fluids are distributed differently and due to this dehydration occurs rapidly. Unless there is a chronic illness, high fevers over 36-48 hours, work or play (football practice) in 90-100 degree weather PLAIN bottled water with a handful of salted pretzels throughout the day will be more than enough. There is no need for the salt and potassium overload from the other products

I’m 76 so I don’t have to tell you my skin is definitely crepey. I like all of the Gold Bond products so I tried the crepe corrector. It didn’t take two days. It was actually immediate! I couldn’t believe it. The crepey skin just poof, vanished. I highly recommend it. It’s worth every penny.

I always thought the same thing about eye creams being unnecessary until I tried really high end eye creams. Chanel has Crème Yeux Revitalisante, Dior has an amazing line called Capture Totale Dream Skin (my fave), Lancôme made one in the Vissionaire line, Armani has one called Crema Nera and even Estée Lauder has a pretty descent one as well. Also, the big difference in all of them is that nothing in them will irritate your eyes whereas there are so many things in moisturizers that can, namely SPF being the biggest offender followed by retinol, AHA, BHAs, etc.

The jergens lotion is really good, the only thing is, just like self tanner, you have to be careful of getting streaky/patchy and bc it’s not colored, you can’t see where you apply it so just be careful!

I have tried the bum bum cream and does not last all day, not even a couple of hours; however Sams Club has a Dupe that smells sooo close, made with a lot of the same ingredients and goes on just like the bum bum, comes with a little built in scoop in the optional pop top/ screw top, and you get two BIG containers for less than $20!!!

I will pay for Gold Bond crepe correction without batting an eyelash! I use what my Great Nana and Nana taught me to use for puffy eyes and lines, preparation h. If I’ve had a wretched night of little to no sleep, a little Prep H and the puffiness is gone. I use Vaseline on my face, neck and chest 3 hrs before going to bed. Just a bit. I’m 52 and have very few wrinkles, plump, healthy skin. Been doing it for over 35 years. My picture avatar is 5 years old, hubby and I renewed our vows in my Nana’s church. You don’t have to spend a fortune to have healthy skin or a healthy body.

Bum bum cream for the win, been using it for many years, love it so much, I also buy the perfume (one spritz is enough) a bottle lasts me about 6 months. The cream does smell nice after a few hours. Vivan, the original bum bum cream smells amazing (and used to cost a bit less) However, they've changed the formula and now it's just a regular quality lotion you could buy at bath and body works....but yeah, the scent lasts all day, if you like the scent they sell body sprays and perfume. Before they changed the formula it was thick and sparkly and amazing..Now....it only smells good, but they make other products with the same scent that I'd recommend over the bum bum cream (shampoo, perfume, body spray, deodorant, body wash, etc).

With the fabric refresher spray, I personally like a little stronger scent, even after a few hours. Some of the ones I tried there was no trace of scent and my fabrics were back to smelling the same as before I spray them.

About the electrolytes, I heard a long time ago that if you're dehydrated and you drink an electrolyte beverage, it will taste saltier. If you are already thinking that you're dehydrated, that could be the reason for your experience with them so far.
