if you havent recorded the next episode yet, you could use a redstone repeater coming out of the already powered funnel, then into a block with a redstone torch to invert the signal. that way you will be able to make the funnel work when the other funnel is not outputting!

or you can use integrated dynamics to output specific signals depending on the comparator output of the barrel, all of that running with cables, so you don't have to worry about blocks supporting the redstone

I might be wrong, but I think the fan washing issue might've been fixed in the 0.5.1.f update for Create mod. Or that's what it seems like, at least. Not sure when AE will update to it, though

Hey there! I know this might be a bit off-topic for this video, but I've been wondering why nobody has explored the idea of creating steam engines using carpet dupers in Minecraft. It seems like an interesting concept to me! What are your thoughts on this? [edited] I managed to do a 4x6x5 auto sufficient survival friendly steam engine. Check the comment below with the link to the tutorial. (It's a google drive link so it's safe, + u don't have to downlead it, just watch it)

seems kinda over the top especially considering the carpets last a very short amount of time and so you'd need a really fast distribution system, lava is much easier to get (1.2 cauldron lava gens per blaze burner) and lasts much longer but it would work

@dejojotheawsome Nope, I swear, it's 100% self-sufficient, and it can fit in a 6x5x6 space. The design is really easy and compact. I'll try to put a link to a video of the one I made.

Yo dejojo that weird thing where that machine has stopped working when blowing into a funnel for washing and other is not just you or this pack i think it is a thing with the most recent version of create ive been having the issue in a compleatly different pack on a different version which also updated recently too
