Battle Brothers is a turn based tactical RPG which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign. Do you have what it takes to lead them through bloody battles and to victory?
The game consists of a strategic worldmap and a tactical combat layer. On the worldmap you can freely travel in order to take contracts that earn you good coin, find places worth looting, enemies worth pursuing or towns to resupply and hire men at. This is also where you manage, level up and equip your Battle Brothers. Once you engage a hostile party the game will switch to a tactical map where the actual fighting takes place as detailed turn based combat.

It only now hit me that this challenge is basically Plants vs Zombies lmao Edit: The Mod that adds the Dryad start is called "Sellswords Updated" you need it on top of Legends Edit 2: You need Legends 1.8.2.5 and Sellswords Updated 6.3.0, you have to have these specific versions (As far as I know, Legends 1.8.2.6 also works but I didn't test it personally)

can you pin the link to the mod or is it the most recent update on nexus mods? btw grafic problems like the boulders normaly can be fixed with a game restart

@NotSimo can give link to the mods cuz i somehow cant access it. I cant find sellswords 6.3.0 i only found the other version i tried the version 7 but it requires legends ptr 2.1.23 and its already archived. I really wanna play this mod now please help.

It is a memory issue. Saving exasperates is but is not required for it to happen. Restarting purges the memory which is why that fixes it

@@NotSimo which start was it? I couldn't find it, Sellswords needed a specific version of PTR too which was undownloadable since it was archived unless you tinker with the html stuff.

The graphical glitch should go away when you restart the game, the engine just isnt made for the amount of graphical assets legends adds so this bug can happen after some playtime

That's the exact reason why you dont anger nature. They wake up an extremely overpowered Dryad and it starts deleting everything. And it likes mercenary work for some reason. (I wonder why) 🤭 RIP Alfons..we will miss you.

Make sure you download a mod called Sellswords on top of legends, its apparently what adds the start

I tried the Legends mod but when I downloaded it from Nexus and tried to install it the game refused to load. No clue what I did wrong.

You need some other mods first that Legends depends on I'm sure Check the requirements on the Legends Nexus page Also, you need a mod called Sellswords on top of Legends to have the Dryad start

@@NotSimo Ok, ignore me... I went to double check I had all the prereqs and I completely missed that every mod has a line saying "do not unzip this file". I just assumed it needed to be unzipped like every other mod I've ever used LOL
