Pritchett Canyon is arguably the hardest trail in Moab. We ran it two years ago and I broke a U-Joint in the middle of the trail. We came to run it again so Cara could do it in her Jeep and so I could get redemption. That didn't go well.

If it says anything about this video, I watch you on my laptop which is attached to a 43" 1080p TV. I started with you on the laptop display while I was looking at an amazon order I need to make. By the time you guys hit brickyard, I had you full screen on the big display, and am now sitting in my chair with a solid 8 inches between my back side and the back of the seat propped on my elbows watching every inch of the footage close enough I can almost the individual pixels. Great Wheeling, and Great Videography! (Even if things went wrong.)

Perhaps if you want to run Prichett, you need a dedicated trail rig built for crawling instead of camping. (or just build a rack for the bed that holds lots of spares. :) (I used to know a wheeler who did just that. when he broke something he bought two of it as replacements. one for the repair and one for the next repair)

Technology is not far away from being able to do video analysis on all the pritchett canyon videos and calculate the probability of breaking an axle or something like that with a particular type of vehicle with a particular size of tire. We're not far. All the analytics that are about to be available I think are going to be really cool. I haven't heard anything specific I just know that it can be done so it probably will be soon.

When we wheel something that technical we always carry spare axle shafts, you have room to do the same, easy trail fix, this trail it pretty much turning into a buggy only trail, 37s don't give a gladiator or a jk enough ground clearance,

First, let me say- I enjoy your overlanding videos; I’ve been watching them for over a year now. With that said- Second- if you have to stack rocks, the trail isn’t for you. The people that run the trail behind you are trying to beat the obstacles and you’re taking it away from them. I will add this little caveat to aid your self esteem- I have a “juggy” JKU on tons and 40” stickies and I didn’t make it through Pritchett without breaking.
