Check this mech build first before you buy the new Lloyds Elemental Power Mech set.
This build is heavier and more armored than the other mech from the new Ninjago Rising Dragon season 2 sets

The samurai resemblance with the maroon reminds me of Garmadon's 4-armed mech. Very well done on the improvements! Lloyd can definitely defeat the wolf warriors now!

I would be glad if you upgraded the new Ninjago mechs using smaller mechs (Marvel, Star Wars, etc) to sort of upgrade the mechs, as you did with the cole mech.

That's a good idea but due to my current budget right now, I can only buy Ninjago sets and then try to upgrade those with the pieces I have with me. I do like to do that as it is one of the easiest way on how to modify bigger sets but any sets that has a theme outside Ninjago has a higher price value. I just liked the war machine mech set too back then to buy it. 😂

Good work. Much better than official set. I like how you got that samurai armor look. I finally got my hands on to the official set. Set isn't so bad at but needs some work. Also it feels rushed and looks like it's missing parts. I'm planning testing upgrading it with Lloyds evo car and evo mech. Parts of those sets should give end results i want.

Thanks for the comment. 😁 Good points. I wanted to make the more parts in green but I didn't have the right pieces when I was building this. I only had Bright green 🤣

Thanks for the comment 😁 For this build, I used pieces from my own collection. I only patterned the design to the new Ninjago Mech sets to make it fit the theme 😁

Whats the easiest way to build this if we don't have every lego piece memorized? Is there way to just search the parts using google image search and screen shotting the pieces you used? I'd like to build this but im not sure all the parts you've used.

Thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked the build. 😁 Unfortunately, I don't have an easy way to help you build this. The only way I found was to know the basic terms of LEGO pieces to help my narrow down may google searches. I used phrases like LEGO curved pieces or LEGO Modified brick. For my videos, I show all the pieces to let the viewers pause the video and take a screenshot of the pieces. I usually guess what set has the pieces I need and search thru LEGO sites for sets that might have that piece. Recently, I also tried to import official LEGO sets in Stud io program in Windows PC. That will give you the list pieces that are available in the database of the program. I use this to see what are the pieces a set has before deciding to buy it. Note that new pieces may not yet be available but the program will give you the LEGO reference number for the missing pieces that help narrow down google searches. I hope I gave you some useful tips. I know there is no easy way around it as there are many LEGO pieces and knowing basic LEGO terms to describe pieces really help. It took me years to understand it as I get confused a lot but felt it is a useful skill for this hobby 😁

Honestly I don't know. Most of the parts are from my zip bag that I brought with me. I know I used Sora's Elemental Tech Mech 71807 as the base but only used the new ratchet pieces and the gold armor I see some parts from these sets too but I don't think these are enough: - Lloyd’s Mech Battle EVO 71781 - Lloyd and Arin's Ninja Team Mechs 71794 I usually buy piece so it's easier to modify sets. I find it cheaper than buying multiple sets to scrap for parts. 😁

Yup I really made it bulky. That's the concept I thought of. The mech is so bulky that only Lloyd can pilot it with the element of power. I think that is the best way to make the mech unique and aligned with pilot's ability. 😁 I preferred this approach than giving the mech a big energy weapon to showcase Lloyd's element. That would make the mech stood out from the rest but not it won't be aligned with the ninja theme😁
