Roblox doesn't have its own themed Lego set. At one time, in 2016, it could've. But it all fell through... until now. This is the story of that set, and how I made it a reality.

The reason why some bricks are way too expensive in different colors is mostly because Lego either stopped making that color or that color is rarely used for that piece, meaning that the resale value shoots up in value

Hi, I designed this! First of all, I can not emphasize just how much I needed this tonight. It's been a rough week and I was shown this by a friend and after sitting and watching the whole thing, I'm blown away! You did a really good job recreating the set to the best of your abilities. Partway through the model's lifetime, i actually updated it and remade it from scratch with some differences, you can see it on Google I think. I find it funny, looking back at this because the model is so dated and unattractive compared to what I produce now, where I'm always aiming to improve each project. I actually tried re-exploring this idea this spring for the first time in a few years at a larger scale, but I have no interest in taking part in LEGO IDEAS anymore. From what I remember, I think the project actually got like 7200 supporters. If I had known you were doing this, I probably would've just sent you the file! But seeing you figure it out on your own and doing it your own way was entertaining to watch too. Thanks for remembering this. It's an experience I look back on and feel some sort of sorrow over but I'm glad people like you enjoyed it so much. I hope Fern and Jay are found soon. - fourstud / foursci

The issue with prices is because of the set released in / rarity / quantity is massive factor in a pieces price. For example a grey 2x4 isn’t rare, but a green soldier helmet could be $44 is because of mentioned factors. Hope this help!

If memory serves right, there was actually a contest where roblox asked the users to create a concept to submit to lego ideas. I can't remember if 4sci's concept was the winner of the contest but regardless, there should many more roblox lego set concepts. More likely most of them are lost to time.

It was a contest just to make some models and I did one for Sword Fights on the Heights for that and ended up winning/placing. Crossroads was a separate model I submitted on my own, inspired by my SFOTH build!

Yup you’re 100% right, 4sci’s entry did win the roblox contest and the next step was to submit the idea to Lego Ideas and for the people on roblox to get it up to 10,000 supporters. I even remember roblox telling people to vote for the project but then any news of it silently went away

9:34 The colour unavailable means that Lego doesn’t produce that brick in that colour, so in turn you can’t order it off of Bricklink

Something you didn’t mention is that just because the set got 10,000 supports doesn’t mean that you get a set made. The review is actually taking multiple sets that reached all the supports and deciding which ones to make irl. So this set could have still been denied even with 10k based on licensing issues and other factors :/

Oh, lego digital designer. That brings back memories. I used to just place a bunch of random models around and build weird things with them all. I still have a helicopter that my dad and I built with LDD sitting on a shelf.

I remember that when 4sci lego ideas concept was launched I was quite excited as I always wanted a Roblox toy of any form. Even though Roblox would get toys, I’d would like Roblox to revisit it, which i think is more popular as lego is making more licensed themes

As a TFOL (Teenage Fan Of Lego), I think we need a Lego Star Wars style ROBLOX Battle Pack. Like, 4 Identical noob characters with swords and bazookas, with a BARC speeder, an AT-RT or some goofy E-Web Turret! Edit: I think you should make a Lego Channel and sort your old Lego. You can get views from both Lego and Roblox, 'cos if you did, I'd watch the hell outta that channel!

Hi! I just wanted to explain why some Lego bricks are so pricy in some colors, Lego either didn't produce them as much as other ones, or they just did them in an OLD set

if you wonder why some colors are expensive other not its because lego only can make lego pieces and certain lego of certain colors are like limiteds in roblox (they are rare and only got into a few sets and lego to keep this rarity sell them expensively on their sites and sometimes they dont sell them at all)

The reason the green knight helmet is $44 is because the piece only appeared in 1 or a few sets and is rare. Same goes for other pieces

As a Roblox and Lego fan , I can say a detail you would have missed. So , whenever a set gets voted for , there is a design team at Lego that changes major parts of the build. Take Tales of the Space Age, for example. Lego added in another part of the set that wasn't in the original submission. Even if the roblox set did make it , it would have probably been majorly changed. Also , where are the set instructions? God bless and take care!
