They should play on lost island or something. They haven't gone to the ocean at all yet. Also that map is huge and so many creatures and engrams that the island doesn't have.

If you want tim to live you need to make sure you have raid dino eating enabled in the settings its off by default and would be bad to lose tim after all that work :)

Hey Welyn, if you don't want the Titanosaur to die, make sure you enable "Raid Dino Feeding" in the world setting, because otherwise, it'll starve to death. Its a countermeasure to keep Alpha tribes from keeping them forever on pvp servers.

Still starves eventually. You can set raid hunger to 0.00000000001 and force feed him, but he won't eat on his own and will eventually die regardless. Same with Titans.

@@bogeymanbear unless you have first hand evidence, i suggest you take a lighter stance on that, it's all over the place that they dont eat unless force fed, the setting just allows the force feeding... and if you do have evidence then i suggest you work on clearing up the "myth"

That rocky outcrop next to where you ended your episode is my favorite PVE base spot on the island. It’s dead center, so you never have to go across the whole map for anything. Plus you have spino, Rex, theri, and baryonix spawn spots all right there. Combine that with being close to most metal spots, and you get a really good base location. You just have to prop the base up on pillars because it’s not quite flat enough for just foundations.

It still amazes me that one of my favorite content creators of all time has made a series on one of most frustrating and heart-breaking games I've ever played. I have over 3,000 hours in this god-forsaken game (my most played game) and it still my favorite for some reason and seeing you play this and experience everything for the first time in an absolute joy to me. I love it when big youtubers play games like Ark. Ark is such an underrated game that can bring people so much fun and most likely some pain, but that’s it’s beauty. Ark is one of those games that can send you on your own story, and while of course there is a story to the game, most of it is determined by what you do and how you play the game. And you build such a strong connection with all of the tamed you have gathered on the way, from your first tame to the last. They help you throughout your entire game, from your first base, to your first boss fight, they are the key to beating the game. And yes, i’m a little addicted to this game, and i am trying to justify that a little

@Welyn if you get sabertooths and do the cave directly south east of the volcano and then use a doedic to gather stone, you can get cementing paste really efficiently. Use the chemistry bench, its like a cracked out mortar and pestle, it even makes more resources for less input. An Industrial forge can really speed up metal gathering for you.

I remember the first time my group tried to tame a titanosaur, we used the same strategy that you did, but failed miserably. We had accidentally placed the cannon too close to the Quetzal's head and on the first cannon shot we accidentally Old Yellered our Quetzal.

@Welyn if you see this I recommend the Elder Megachelon mod if you haven't tried it. Running it now and it makes a great mobile fortress. Insane weight carry, all terrain climbing and the largest platform space I've seen besides the Desert Titan. Currently combining it with S+, Castles and Platform Freedom to build a giant walking cathedral.

I would of loved watching you guys kidnap wyvern eggs, it was challenging and i found that crossbow with grapple or a fast fly mount would go well, and the grapple only works with absolute hardcore luck and timing and maybe a distraction/bait

The old school metal mining method was putting the anky on a quetzal platform, on a ramp, and it can carry thousands of raw metal. It used to be infinite weight, but they patched it a long time ago.. you have 1 person flying to the nods, and the other person just hits with the anky.. the anky will quickly become over weight, so you require the flyer to do most of the work.. They also put in a whistle that forces the flyers to land, which I wish the game had years ago when I played.
