Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is probably the best city-building game set in a Soviet country. I have to admit that it is quite complicated and very realistic. Especially when it comes to alcohol consumption, hunger and poor transport to and from work.

Fun fact, food insecurity wast really a bit thing in the Soviet Union, only during the collectivism wich was the last famine, ww2 of course and some instability at the end of the Soviet Union when it was about to dissolve

The USSR literally had to import food and was in debt with other countries, despite being so large and potentially being able to produce so much food. I know people who lived in the USSR, from Estonia and Moldova, they were so poor that at the market there were only eggs and sausages.

@@user-tw3ik6lb2u The misery of not being able to buy anything f.g. meat, fruits, or fish for Holidays. The misery of being afraid to talk because you never know who is working for the party. The misery of being afraid to talk even at home because teachers were asking children about what their parents were talking about at home. The misery of being taken by the "police" and beaten hard just because they thought you should be taken and beaten. If you think that Communism is good then you have been brainwashed very hard. Free education or free healthcare is not a part of communism is just a part of revolution the same as 8 hours of work per day instead of 12.
