The reason for the animals being attracted to that hill at the back of the pen is because passive mobs in minecraft will always naturally pathfind up. They check the blocks around them based on a weighted scoring system, with grass being the highest in this case, then once the block position is chosen its bumped up 1. It's a short summary but if you spend long time in one world eventually you will find all the passive mobs at the top of the world generation (provided the source blocks are preferential to the mob type) TLDR: If you want them to roam the paddock remove the hill at the back so they don't all group there

The tractor harvesting in the fields with the little tractor engine noises and ambient music was actually beautiful! One of my favourite pieces you have done so far ❤

Just FYI: Combine harvesters have been around since the 40s and were in fact being used to harvest crops in the 50s. They just didn't look anything like the modern combines we're familiar with. There are even some horse-drawn examples! It was just bothering me how you're using a tractor and plough, which is used for tilling dirt, as a harvesting tool

since the steam 'n' rails addon got updated, it'd be cool to see you rework your older trains and maybe add some of the new content from the update

I was thinking... Some decorations like giant Silos on the mountain where the Bus leaves... It would be a good decoration, and maybe a great super warehouse in the new area

Hey mr beardstone when you start making the planes make a flag plane that says "sub to mr.beardstone". Also i have another suggestion can you add a planter trailer for the tractor so when the tractor is finished harvesting it backs up and detaches the harvester then attaches to the planter and does his rout again and its done it will back up detaches the trailer and goes to its shed

Combine Harvesters were actually invented in the early 50s. The first one was the Fahr MD 1 which was also pretty tiny. Some other early ones were the Claas Hercules, Lanz MD 50 and IHC D61. The way you built the tractor, it would drive over the crops before harvesting them which would reduce the yield significantly.

Here's a mind scenario I just came up with: during a lull in Season 10 of Hermitcraft, Zedaph starts another Create server with Tango and a few of the other create-minded Hermits, and we get Mr. Beardstone in the mix

You should build a tractor/farm equipment dealership somewhere in the world. Would be perfect in combination with the farms.

I'd love to see a Barn Cat and a Livestock Guardian Dog incorporated somewhere! Loving this new area, and the tractor sequence was beautiful!

You should build a crop circle in the field because that would be cool

for the pumpkin field when you eventually make it - can you make it like those halloween pumpkin patches you’d go to as a kid on halloween? with the nearby barn selling sweets and having a little haunted tractor ride, etc, basically halloween themed. You could climb hay bales, play in a cornbox, even do a maze. I dunno! Might be a fun way to spice up one of the farms :)

This is by far my favorite Minecraft series on KZfaq currently and one of them all time. I love how much progress is made in each episode while still having a chiller vibe.

That area is already the size of some real life villages near where I grew up, maybe even bigger! The farming district in general is giving me a whole lot of nostalgia

Idea: Using deployers on the station have the tractor schedule applied when the storage is not full. As eventually if production is as large as that field, there will be inevitable backlog that will overflow. Unless storage drawers have infinite space (then my mistake) this could work long term. And not be a hassle.

This is perhaps my favorite video so far.. this tractor/harvester is amazing! Please do more of similar things :)

An automated green house for vegetables or flowers would be cool! Additionally you should have the crop drop off point be a silo since that's where unprocessed grains are normally stored. It would also be interesting to see a tiered rice farm.

I love the idea of making a tractor and harvester on the back for a wheat farm! I may copy this on my own save once I expand my wheat farm

A few flowers among the wheat and a beehive on the tree with a couple of bees flying around might look good. Tho knowing bee pathfinding they might end up getting in the way of the tractor and unalive themselves. Love the build , it looks awesome!

I'm glad I found this series, it's been helping me get back into playing minecraft. past couple of years I'd start a new world and delete it in 20 or 30 minutes, but ive been sitting down for an hour at a time now in the same world I made I week ago finally lol

Every tractor shed has a few horse drawn/pre tractor tools like a single track plough etc, and some chains and rope hanging.from the rafters.

I like how you do different areas for different type of production systems.

You can select in the schedule waypoint trough station instead of travel to station this will make it go trough the station but it will not stop :D

Maybe add some sun flowers in the wheat field just to to break it up! It’s my favorite knew thing to do. Also love this series. One day I’ll download create mod when my pc is working again. Omggg the little driver guy is adorable!!!

Mr Beardstone You could make some Wheat Silo's For Storage Of the Wheat Your Tractor Collects Or Just as a Building

I love watching Mr. Beardstone. One of the best Minecrafters out there on KZfaq. The tractor design was brilliant, but it I just can't help feel it should have been a green John Deere tractor!😄

Maybe a small tractor attachment in the shed of a plow contraption, it would be decorative but would imply the tractor was using different attachments to maintain the fields. Additionally have you added the fermenting mod this pack? A brewery in the farming area might be interesting. One last thought thought, an interesting difference between U.S. farming and U.K. farming would be Right to Roam, so it might be fun to add little footpaths or hiking trails to the edges of the area.

maybe add a small dump trailer in the shed as like a trailer to transport wheat to the mill

If you're ever looking to add player skins to your field I volunteer as a Scare-Thro 😂 Place looks incredible as always! The little tractor montage was so calming.

First of all, love the video. Second, regarding the shed interior, you could make a small yellow tractor (kinda like the one from the astral series) and spare parts like wheels, an old plough or a spare engine (i always thought the create mod hose looks like one lol). Something I have seen several times in those kind of sheds are farming tools, like hoes or sickels, and a few vegetables that are just hanged in there. Cant wait for the next episode!

The little tractor driver should be called "Joe". ...because Farmer Joe's. Very original I know, but that guy feels like "Joe" to me! I found this build very satisfying to look at! I very much enjoyed the end result. Can't wait for things like flatbed trucks, wheat and water silos, s̶l̶a̶u̶g̶h̶t̶e̶r̶h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶s̶ holiday homes for animals.. all the things you'd see at a farm!

Every time i saw a video from Mr.Beardstone I think to myself: Man...I want this exactly like him in my world. Then I realize I'm not the slightest so talented. I love the tractor with the coupling thing...so great and brings the world so much life.

Okay, so now that you have a Farm and some Massive Wheat Fields, It might be Time to Get yourself a Vehicle for your own personal use. You could make a Land Rover from around 1948 or you could make one of the Following Vehicles below from World War Two..... • Lend-Leased American Jeep Willys MB 1944.Let • Lend-Leased American M3 Scout Car (White Scout Car in British Service). • British M5 Half-Track by International Harvester Company (IHC). • British Universal Carrier Mk. II (Aka the Bren Gun Carrier). And if you need Extra Cargo Capacity (Aka Storage), you can Build an American 1-ton "Ben Hur" Trailer from 1942 to Tow around. In any case, you'll need plenty of Dark Prismarine, Green Terracotta and/or Green Concrete for the Bodies of these Vehicles as well as the Trailer. If you had the Create: Big Cannons, Create: Interactive, Valkyrien Skies: Eureka and Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork Mods available, you could actually Drive them around and Arm then with an Autocannon on a Carriage and be ready for when things come to an Unfortunate Head with Stan.
