The reason the village wasn't upgrading properly is because it's all connected to your underwater support piece which goes out of your village. I had the same happen to me when I built at the top of a tall spire in the desert. Have an elevator going up to it and anything connected to the elevator counts as outside of my village, which means villagers couldn't work on any benches connected to that either. Had to separate the elevator and the village.

Request to make a village in the sky in a future episode that'd be sick

So nervous that the single support beam connecting it to the ocean floor will break and your whole village will fall apart. Please help my anxiety and build more supports. Much love.

idea: what if you leave and rejoin and instead of upgrading the village ask a villager to live there?

tip to go farther swimming: swim for as long as you can until you're near drowning then log and rejoin, it fills your energy back up.

QUICK Farming Tip. Find a patch of Joshua Trees in the dessert biome, usually on the grassland/dessert border and use your sword to speed farm them. Super op 400 wood in a few min!

Idea: make a tiki bar. Also you can make a boat to get to the raft faster if you know how. In my village at least I have a lake where I made a dock village thing. Also a tree house village. W video, keep up the good work.

Maybe having planks from the beach out to the ocean and build the castle off of the planks like a narrow wharf will allow you to place beds.

The village square is so deep in the ocean that it’s not counting the beds as being there 😢. I built an entire castle in the middle of a lake and no one can live there hopefully this gets fixed!

The only thing to fix it is by putting the village square ,either higher and the Bed on a high platform because when you tried again it said there was no empty beds and the only empty bed was the glitched one and yours was claimed

little tip: if your falling do a slam down attack

Have had the "there is no bed" issue too in the past. What fixed it for me was smash and rebuild the village square.

The villagers can't sleep in those beds because they're not supposed to be out that far. Notice you don't have that yellow, transparent square that shows your "village square" boundaries. Same happened to me building a shore biome

You should go back to the lake with the cool formation on the middle island and build a village or something there that would be sick

in the future you should make a mega city that has a bunch of villages next to each other

Make a little farm on the raft, make a "training room" on the raft, and try and make a little sideraft

Maybe if you do the backout thing, where you levelled up your village, with gaining villagers then you might not be so lonely...

I think you can get villagers in there if you put the beds in somewhere taller. Like the one you did for yourself to sleep on, cause the final villager said that it needed an empty bed meaning it registered that there was a bed which wasn’t happening to the villagers before. So you should try that just in case.

Kaz try put the beds on a platform higher up maybe kinda like ur sniper tower and villager might be able to sleep there

add a mini boat and a place where you can put it so you don't have to swim back to the land

I feel so bad for him because that's one of the legendary villagers

You CAN make floating village BUT you'll need to use balloons to rise it from the water. At least one block. Really tough to calculate and honestly I don't know if it's worth it.

Maybe cave villages next?

Idea make a village next to another village and it could be a real mega base and each village could be like a different part but connect it to your mega base

you could build other small rafts with little bridges or some creative way to get back and forth

Idea: try to bring a villager from ure og bases as a adventure helper to the ocean base and then just tell him to stay there or give him the job to get food

Try to put the villagers beds in the higher floors because maybe it thinks the beds are to close to the water? Or try leaving and rejoining like you did to upgrade your village, but ask the villager to join instead?

Could you put a dynamic foundation on the water? & just build a smaller transportation boat with some thrusters

Try to connect the village to the mainland, island or a rock and see if u can ask the villagers to live in your village after that.
