I've put about 500 hours into planet zoo, and unless he's using some crazy mods I don't know about, that animal dispenser and holodeck thing are not things you can do in this game.

Sometimes I wonder, in a parallel universe, Let's Game It Out is a channel about Josh being able to play games normally, doing speedruns and challengess, and 'gaming it out' the perfect and right way. But I sure as hell am glad I ended up in this universe's Josh.

The man spends a month or two on these. He literally puts hundreds of hours into them. I'm assuming he has a dedicated gaming PC for this, as sometimes he just lets it run for days to get to some point or to grind for something. Maybe some macros to click on things? Yeah, a behind the scenes video would be interesting.

Everytime I finish a Let's Game it Out video, I always thank the idea of Josh being a KZfaq content creator instead of pursuing an education degree. Imagine what your quiz, homeworks and project would be if your teacher is doing this kind of thing for "fun".

I like to imagine what his shoots would have been like had he ever sat in the director's chair (I've never heard him say he has ever done it - though I believe he has worked as a continuity supervisor). I love how Josh breaking things normally isn't even enough for him in Planet Zoo anymore, he's taken to cracking holes in the game so large that he can shove narratives and continuity and cutscenes into the hole. Oh, were you impressed by my amazing custom holodeck of Mars that you were forced to reread the EULAs for several times? Well too bad, you're on a rocket to actually go there instead. Because this zoo has a well-established space program! Probably courtesy of Pawshanks prison labor. We're going to Mars because we can't actually use the moon, it's filled with terminator bears, don't question it. But we might meet an old friend! No, not the giraffe hydra, silly, we get those every other zoo video, I mean we left Grace on Mars!

I'm always amazed by the effort he puts into these videos. Having played a lot of Planet Zoo, this video is absolutely jaw-dropping due to the amount of editing work and countless hours of prep it can take.

Well hes probably already made $20 000 from youtube on this video and its only been up for one day. Plus hes getting paid by sponsors, and hes getting free games and pc parts etc... its not like he just does this in his spare time, messing around with a game for a few weeks seems like a good deal. Whats amazes me is the amount of money people can make just playing games.

@@antiplusch9381 lol no, you are just randomly adding things onto what the op said, the praise was very specific about the time and effort only.. thats why when you consider the amount of money hes getting to do it as a full time job, its really not amazing at all, its actually a luxury for him, he can probably afford to hire an editor and other staff, the fact that hes entertaining doesnt suddenly make the time he spends playing games "jaw-dropping" dont be so silly. Of course there is a certain skill in being entertaining playing games, of course there are people who deserve a career doing this... ur missing the point entirely... and yes i could be a big content creator if i wanted to, its really not that hard

Josh's penchant for raw chaos in these city builder/business management sort of games is honestly the primary thing that got me into this genre. I had zero interest in things like Planet Zoo and Parkasaurus until I saw what could be done in them given enough time, effort, and rabies. Now, I tend to actively pursue this degree of madness whenever I play games like these myself.

Stanley then left for his home, only to find that he did INDEED leave the stove on, and his house was nothing more than charred remains dating back some fifteen years. Stanley then realized that in his insane attempts of building a zoo, he had squandered those years where he could have made friends, find a lover, maybe even have a family. Stanley then became depressed.

I'm always amazed at the effort he goes through for these videos. Having played a lot of Planet Zoo though, this one is absolutely jaw dropping because of the combined editing effort and countless hours of prep that this video likely took.
