I always wanted a spike aerator and they are quite expensive, so I decided to build my own.

Thank you for sharing my video. I just couldn't justify spending $400 plus dollars on something I only use two or maybe three times out of the year. This was quite a bit cheaper only cost me about $90 to build in total. Thanks for watching I will definitely check out your Channel!

Thanks, I was trying to build one way cheaper than buying a new one. They're around $450 here to buy and I built this one for under $100. So I think achieved my goal. Thanks for watching!

This is great. Where did you get the tank or what type of tank is it? How did it work out? How do you go from the shop to the lawn without damaging concert and the spikes. Thanks for sharing.

It's just an old propane tank that I got out of the junkyard for free. It worked very well for aerating the lawn. As for how did I not get it to damage the concrete I plan on adding some Wheels to it so I can flip it over up on the wheels when I want to transport it somewhere. But for the time being it mostly just sits in my yard so the wheels aren't really an issue right now. But I am planning on adding some in the future. I'm not sure, but I have no problem pulling it around the yard with my 20HP lawn tractor.

Might want to show how you purged the tank so someone doesn't blow themselves up.

Yeah, that would have been a good idea. But this tank was sitting in a scrap yard opened for many years, so there was absolutely no propane in it. There was actually a bunch of water in it when I got it. But yes, I should have mentioned that in my video.
