I'm actually surprised that Facepunch hasn't added the ability to rock climb and hang on cliffs like in Conan Exiles. It'd be a great quality of life update. They added ladders that unrealistically stick on anything so they know it was a concern. Heck even Black Desert lets you grab on to ledges.

Would love it if Facepunch added in rock climbing with the addition of a rock climbing kit that comes with ropes, anchors, and harnesses. Make it so that the player can shoot while repelling, but make it so that they only have the ability to hip fire when doing so. Allow players to place the anchors freely in areas they are not building blocked. Let the anchors decay as well to reduce clutter that could affect fps. Let the rope be destructible though, and especially vulnerable to fire, which when started should spread across the rope til it breaks. Perhaps making climbing rope a crafted resource that has durability to it. Meaning that you couldn't infinitely reuse the same rope.

Map your base and place mines in an interlocking grid pattern. If people walk in straight lines, they'll hit a mine. You won't hit a mine because you know the pattern. A failure to plan is a plan to fail.
