I really think its a missed opportunity to not have the scuffs as a minus value. So the more cracks etc you place the more simoleans you get back and the lower the value of your property. It then costs money to "sell" them. Just adds a but more realism to the game and gives incentive to make run down apartments/homes

There’s actually a couple of mods by Ilex that do something similar to this with the wall stains and cracks. It negatively affects the environment and then with handiness skill you can clean the stains or repair the cracks to get rid of the negative impact. I really like playing with that mod!

One of my dream packs would be some sort of fixer upper pack where wall marks like these would give you money when you placed them in build mode, and then, you’d have to use some sort of skill interaction to remove them in live mode or pay someone to remove them

Hey Deli, I was thinking that you could build a starter rental with the kitchen as the shared space, that way all units have access to a stove and the sims can interact more with their neighbours. I don't know if that is possible but I think would be fun 😅

@@jenniferdubin8940 i actually built one like that, intended for it to be like, a senior home or dorm or something, so theyve got their rooms, and then shared bathrooms, kitchen and living space. with a laundry room and lil baby gym!

deli i NEED you to build the mamma mia movie situation when this pack fully releases and you can build in tartosa! like create donna and sophie (as an infant) and build a little rental (i think in the movie its a hotel? maybe one can pretend). doesnt have to be a proper rebuild of the movie one just inspired by

Some of the doors look like they have locks on them on the top and bottom? If they are- might want to flip that so they’re inside the apartment when you download from the gallery. 😁

Do you know what they used to do before we had air con units? they used to have doors with windows above them that they would open, and they would run the ceiling fan. Or, they would have an attic fan and they would open run that after opening the windows in the morning or evening, that way they can cool the house naturally. With the new greenhouse kit, there is a fan you can upsize to make an attic fan. I thought people would like to know that. I don't know if it will work in game--probably not--but it is good to know anyway.

So cute, so freaking cute that I almost can't wait for this to ship! I want to get into this buile with a big scrub brush and mildew cleanser. LOL So, from the videos I've seen, I think the plastic patio chair that EVERYONE has IRL is my fave. I hope it's a dining chair. We sit in these a every cookout no matter who's hosting it. I love that my favourite creators get early access so that we can see what's up with new packs. There's so much creativity!

I just remembered something I wanted to say earlier, the Sims 4 For Rent, what were they thinking when they thought of that name? I don't know why they don't call the packs after the worlds that are in them. Like the Sims 4 Tarmonrang has a much better ring to it. Or the Sims 4 Glimmerbrook, the Sims 4 Windenberg, The Sims 4 Willow Creek or Oasis Springs, The Sims 4 Forgotten Hollow, etc... You get the idea, not only does it have a nice ring to it, but it is easier to remember.

My absolute dream sims pack would be a “Sports Stars” pack where they can do loads of sport like tennis, gymnastics, basketball ball and football, golf, rowing etc!! I feel like a lot of the packs at, have been stuff that should have been with the game so I feel that we really need a themed pack soon😊

I Think that each unit would cost 20,000 thousand simoleans, meaning that, instead of the whole block being counted with the initial amount given to the Sims, the individual unit within the whole Block will therefore be worth more meaning you will have more flexibility to with the budget at hand.

Love the idea of a hotel pack or builds. Maybe cutting down lease time could kind of have that ability. I imagine it like an airbnb type thing. At least until the possibility of it actually being an official pack 😅

I wish the sims do more scenarios but you could apply them to your game and the extra townies would just move in. It would make situations like eventually wanting to be a landlord more fun than just grinding for it with painting or gardening. However we do have your family member left you money but you have to get married for it or not ask why.

I actually made a ruined house with missing walls and grime and trash everywhere. Moved my sim and her cat in and took their money. She did make 1.000 simoleons from cleaning up the garden, but the rest is rags to riches and trying to renovate the house to "it's old glory". It was very fun and I plan on making her kid take over the house and make a "add on" room to the back, and rent it out. With a very clear distinction from the old stone and collums for the "original" house, and just a slapped on wood paneled add-on for the tenants. There are many things I miss from sims 3, but I think we can make our own, if not better, stories and scenarios

Precious/lrecise both work, at least in british/aussie english. To be precious about something means to be ott over tiny details that really don't matter.

For rent really makes me want a roommates system added and I know we have one but I want one where they won’t constantly leave passive aggressive notes around and leave like I won’t to live with them but I don’t want to control them and I don’t want them to leave which the reason this pack makes me want a roommate system is bc im gonna use this as an official roommates system but idk if I’ll be able to do all the things you can if you had actual roommates

Existing Apartment lots cannot be made into residential rentals. Nor can Penthouses.

You definitely can! You’d just have to make them separate households, depending on who you want living in each apartment, and move them in manually from the ‘Manage Worlds’ overworld like you normally already do for separate house lots. Or I imagine you could probably use the phone too to move them.

@@deligracy the "Starter budget" doesn't mean much when there's literally an in infinity sign so I tend to ignore it 😂 plus I use the money cheats so the "starter budget" REALLY gets ignored 😂
