More stats for you, of the 31 24-team seasons in the 4th tier of English football that have/had the top 3 for automatic promotion and 3 points for a win (also no points deduction taken into account), the average points for the teams finishing 4th is approximately 78 points, while for the teams finishing 3rd is approximately 81 points

Germany and France are my go to spots for finding GKs so you did well there. As for the other positions, I've gotten lucky finding quality CB in the US. I also randomly found one of my best CDMs ever from....Brazil. Intended on looking for CM and CAM, yet somehow found a quality CDM after changing his position. As for Wingers, see my tip below... Fun tip: I know hardly anyone checks this place for Wingers, but seriously, go look at Mexico for Wingers. Some of my personal all-time greatest finds at LW and RW have come from Mexico.

I always find great prospects in Canada and Scotland for some reason. Goalkeepers, fullbacks, and wingers are always the easiest. Strikers are hit or miss, but England is usually my best place for them. CB and CM are always the hardest positions for me. I'll look for CM and they usually end up being better as CDM, CAM, or out wide. I also never send them out for longer than 3 months.

If the potential is high but the overall is low, they probably need a position change like Ojeda for example. Nigeria for physically strong, seems to always get a monster cb.

The Youth Academy is so overpowered in FC24 that it doesn't really matter what country you go to, you can find world class players from anywhere (managed to get a Lithuanian to 86 overall on my full youth academy career mode) though not every report will bring back potential to be special players which is always underwhelming.

I usually go german - gk, english/french - cb, brazil/england/spain for fullbacks, serbia has crazy given me crazy DMs shoutout Matic, netherlands/spain/brazil for cms, argentina/portugal for wingers and strikers from netherlands/nigeria are insane

Damn why you gotta call out Cani like that… that said, I think it’s better to prioritize the player value and overalls over the potential stats to build a team faster - once dynamic potential kicks in, they will all grow over time, so getting a decent overall in place to begin with is more important
