I think the game sees the inside of the roof as occupied space, but having your camera below the beams seems to fix this issue

is there any way to play dayz in day only mode. i suck so bad that when i be playing i cant even fidn anything good in the game by the time night time comes around and then im stuck in the pitch black and turn the game off. idk how to do shit light a fire, idk what you need to find. obviously i know you need matches and or a lighter to light a fire but do you just find that shit luckily? or what..

so i just watch other people play while i indulge with food, and get a decent vibe from when other play. like, "ooOOoo ya thats a good idear, or i woulda done it this way" lmao. is there a solo way to play and just get to know the game? i just click into any random server. idk wtf im doin half the time

@@BayAreaBully7667 Normally when I play vanilla on official I look for a med to low pop server with the lowest ping, spawn in and eat my food right away and start heading inland. I usually try to hit about a dozen buildings or so on my way inland to find a bit of food along the way but your best bet is to find food, water, and weapons to defend yourself and also get more food. You can KZfaq some beginner guides that are quite helpful and I think @Nezar might even have one. To be honest most of my in game knowledge comes from watching Nezar, JLK, Exclusion, and @TheRunningManZ. Watch a few videos from each of these guys and you will have a nice sight picture on the general mechanics of the game. And you get to enjoy some righteously kick ass content doing so!
