Watch as I am the first person to ever build a working euthanasia coaster. In this video I give you the history of the euthanasia coaster and then I proceed to build and test and run the coaster. This is incredible. I built one a while back (my 1st YT video) for my son who loves coasters and I put an FVP camera on it so he can wear the FPV goggles and ride along. Need to rebuild that someday. 👍👍

That slow, low and flat ride back to the station where everyone would be dead is an aspect of this coaster you don't think about in the builder's model and design. It's very eerie and morbid watching it cruise back in a flat line slowing down imagining it returning to the station with it's now dead cargo.

My first knex set was the massive roller coaster and second one was the full-sized pinball machine one and it took me a good 4 weeks during my summer vacation when I was 10 to build the rollercoaster one and a good 2 weeks to build the full sized pinball machine one which was very cool with a score hard and all it was truly ahead of its time technology wise for a kids building set and toy. I still have them in the boxes with all the pieces counted them and made sure everything was there last weekend in each set and this coming weekend tonight which is Friday me and my 9 year old son are gonna start on the rollercoaster one then build the pinball one and possibly the full size single lane skiball knex set of the first two go smoothly

It is an impressive model, I would say though that the twisting drop would considerably reduce the gs, making it less lethal. You can see this demonstrated by comparing red force to kingda ka or top thrill dragster, since red force has a straight drop.

The coaster was designed by a guy who also invented a machine that forces people to watch interpretive dance against their will. I wouldn't trust that he actually knew what he was talking about.

The g-forces would work, but I've seen experts question whether you would feel the pain or not. Since the whole concept is that it's supposed to be euphoric and painless (a blissful way to go for someone with a terminal illness, for example), having that in doubt is certainly a problem.

I wonder if you could make the coaster more deadly, like, instead of doing the loops on the inside, have the car go around the outside, this way the blood rushes up into your brain causing it to potentially hemorrhage or the g's be too much to tear your head off.

You could, but the point of the Euthanasia Coaster is to induce euphoria, and then a black-out long enough to kill, so that the rider is in a positive emotional state at the time of death, effectively making it the most humane way to terminate someone's life. If you cause terminal red-out instead the death ends up being painful.

@@CoasterObsessed If a guy was to purchase everything I had, on ebay or some other selling platform, you would have well over $6,000 dollars into it. I would knock more than 50% off that actually. I'd sell EVERYTHING I have for $2800 bucks. I know to the average person reading this, that sounds crazy. If you could see how much I had tho, and you knew what K'nex cost. You would understand that it's an absolute killer deal.

The person who thought it was a good idea to build this (not the youtuber but the "engineer") needs to seriously re-evaluate his life choices. The idea of a rollercoaster isn't supposed to be some death machine but a fun and thrilling ride. Shame of that bald quack for thinking this design was a good idea.

Unfortunately this coaster has been debunked as far as killing you. In fact you probably would walk away relatively fine. 10gs will 100% knock you out but your brain would need several minutes without oxygen for death. This ride would only last about 25 seconds in real life.
