That can't be true. Every single somali child raised in somalia is hafiz. No one goes to school to learn anything until they finish memorising the quran, usually at least 3 times. Most kids start school for maths, English etc at around 12 because that's when they've finished

@Governo Sacad my dear if you are here to assert that you are smarter or better because in Somalia you start early then you are in the wrong place and you have not learned anything from the Qur'an it is easy to memorize the Qur'an But to be humble and live by the rules of the Qur'an is another story!! I started the Qur'an at the age of 6 in the year 1973 with no less than two hundred other Moroccan children in a small mosque that my father built for the miners of our citee in Belgium in the year 1973 and it increased with time! I was the third last of ten children and the 5 first siblings have learned the Quran in Morocco and the five last siblings that where born in Belgium learned it her in Belgium!! Now I have classes for older lady's to teach them Netherlands, Arabic and Qur'an those mother's are the first two generations who came here illiterate at that time. So today I take care of all my older sisters who didn't have a chance to learn when they got married and had kids they are all old grannies now!! So every year we make new reciters! Alhamdulilaah by the will of Allah... But I taught them to read and write first and we have to work on our characters as real Muslims not as nationalists each muslim is not better than the other we are not better than you nor are you better than us . It has really become a disease for many Somalis who constantly leave reactions if it's about the Qur'an and start with we somalis we this and we that hold on relax!! Why be so proud when it is a favor of our Lord not a favor of Somalia. Don't forget that Almighty Allah hates nationalism!! It is not necessary at what age but it's necessary to work first on your behavior and to act like a muslim and let others say Ma Sha Allah not you otherwise you are not better than anyone... and do not praise yourself…therefore it is better to understand and live the teachings of Allah. You learned it at a young age. Therefore you will not understand how important it is to learn the Qur'an at that age if you don't get support of the imam in the masjid …because if the Qur'an does not change is and make us humble and afraid to disobey our Almighty Allah's commands then you didn't yet learned anything…!! You could better get a novel and read it if the Quran hasn't changed you, and you are still a nationalist and arrogant..then it was worthless to learn the Quran at that age.

Ma shaa Allah ♥️ I am so proud of them. Morocco is the country where I heard the Azan for the first time, met the most amazing people, I reverted few years later Al hamduliLlah. I married a Moroccan, and every time I go back, I feel so emotional, I feel like it is my own country, I can notice how people loves the Qur’ân and this make me so happy. تصحيح من المغرب لأبناء بلدي إخوتي المسلمين ،تنبيه لست حافضا لكتاب الله و أسأل الله أن يهدينا لهذا الخير و يتبث أقدامنا أمين : "إِنَّ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا (9) وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا (10) وَيَدْعُ الْإِنسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ دُعَاءَهُ بِالْخَيْرِ ۖ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ عَجُولًا (11)" من سورة النساء أما الأخ فقد قرأ من الكهف "الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُ عِوَجًا ۜ (1) قَيِّمًا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِّن لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا (2) مَّاكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا (3) وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا (4)" "إِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٍ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا (17) وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلَا الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا (18)"من سورة النساء لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (21) هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۖ هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ (22) هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ (23)من سورة الحشر عليك أن تزور مساجدنا يا أخي ستجد غلمان في أعمار السبع خاتمون لكتاب ربنا روعة تبارك الله و الله أسأل الله أن يجعلنا من الحفاض،و بارك الله في إخوتي الذين ضهروا في هذا المقطع جميلين تبارك الله و حفاض تبارك الله لكتاب ربنا لا يلامون المتشباهات كثيرة تبارك الله و القرآن يحتاج التكرار مرارا و تكرار في الحفض فإنه ينفلت بسرعة شديدة من الدماغ كما أخبرنا عن ذلك رسولنا صلى الله عليه و سلم و الله فخر لنا أن يكون فينا رجال مثلهم بارك الله فينا و فيهم و في مسلمي العالم

im from Turkiye I loved Marrakesh but was bit disappointed with Agadir .. I learnt about their history the barbers and other stuff. lovely people and they had similar food taste to Turkiye ..
