Its like the world is upside down right now. Ive heard that there is lots of snow in the mountains here in Norway, but its kinda sad in the coastal areas. Not used to 3+ in january.

i know.. at new year i was out on the balcony in a t-shirt and it was like 10+ haha.. yeah in the north i think there is alot of snow but im at the same latitude as oslo .. kinda =)

I'm just wondering how many guys try to do the same off trail skying after watching these videos and end up with injuries. you have to add a warning a'la don't try this in your home ski resort :)

Anywhere you go sking you can find people ski thru the trees. Many resorts like the Steamboat Springs, Aspen, and Telluride actually promote it.These are the ones I've skied in the US. unofficialnetworks.com/2015/10/top-10-ski-resorts-in-the-world-for-tree-skiingI Yes, people hit trees and get hurt or die. Plenty of people also hit lift towers or fall on rock hard groomed runs and get hurt or die (head injuries) also. Another big concern with tree sking is falling into a tree well and being suffocated to death. Pulled up some stats for Colorado and in 2013 59 people died sking. 54 percent - occurred on blue, groomed runs, while 31 percent were on expert trails. They did mention the death of backcounrty or out of bounds sking. The ski resorts don't release how many are injured and many seriously. When Jon competed, he was among the best if not the best in the world. Mulltiple Gold medals, a whole slew of podiums across the world. He cerrtainly do not need to "step" up his game. I get the feeling that there is quite a lot of people who do not really realize what he accomplished. One of the benefits of having done all this, is that you can go powder all day long with your friends and not having to worry about your "game".

It looked like R. Permin was making shots/videos for his newly signed brand of skis. So it woundn't be appropriate for Jon to be in the shots with his competing brand of skis.

peri fmm as you can see there Richard Permin has his own filming crew. He must be there for a filming project. It will be rude for Jon for asking him to skiing with him while clearly he had other things to do. And it might be impossible too for Richard to join even if he wanted too.

mxgant, i'm actually following Jon's blog for a looooot of years. It was probably 2008 or 2009 when he was doing JOSS, which was the coolest event ever in the freeskiing world. I first started following when he had Sophia on his pro-model skis. Believe me, i know what Jon used to be in the freesking game, but let's be honest, he isn't at that level anymore. Look at Tanner, look at Candide ..he used to be at same level. Probably is just my fault and i need to get used to the fact that Jon is not a pro skier anymore and he has no interest in upping his game. Probably most of his followers aren't in the skiing game so there is no need to do pillow lines in Japan or ski gnarly powder lines. I've wrote too much and he said a couple of times that he won't bring JOSS back so there's no need to ask anymore. But....bring back Colby West or Johnny Decesare or Jossi Wells. If you watch Jon's first vlogs you will agree with me Some behind the scenes x-games coverage would be also great
