Thing is, he does get to them- He says 9 and 10 in the right order. He just doesn't know how- presumably a lack of an attention span, as he seems to occasionally lose count after two.

Though funny this song has a deeper meaning, Physcostick begins the song by claming he can only count to four as a single entity but as the song continues he slowly starts saying “we can only count to four” implying he learned that he doesn’t go through troubles on his own learning that all problems in life are shared and begins to have realization that he’s not alone in this world and there are people who suffer with him

This song embodies the rage I felt as a child when it came to numbers. You could hand me a dictionary and I could read it to you front to back and tell you about what I read, but I always had such a difficult time comprehending math and numbers. It was soooo frustrating! Even now at 30 years old I still struggle with math 💀 I still love reading though lol

I'm the opposite, ask me about any math concept from kindergarten to Calculus other than some statistics from AP stats and I can do it, I understand an entire dictionary as well but I cannot for the life of me decipher themes or topics from books, I hate every Engmilish class.

All time signatures can be broke down into sets of 1s, 2s, 3s and 4s. 5/4? That's just 4 + 1. 7/4? That's just a 4 and then a 3. etc Counting to 4 is enough. Even if playing a tool song.

Usually songs like this I’ll listen to once have a laugh and move on… but I have begun to un-ironically listen to this song on a daily basis. Which is surprising considering I discovered it a couple days ago. I’ve never heard a song that so quickly went from “eh, it’s kind of good, but it’s mostly annoying (I’m not found of repeated lyrics)” to “holy shit, I can’t stop listening.”
