Our 19 year old son was killed by a drunk driver 15 years ago. Four of his classmates sang this song at his funeral. Needless to say this song packs a lot of emotion every time we experience it. Beautiful arrangement.

I’m battling a rare Stage 4 cancer. My life has had many challenges in my 52 years. BUT for Christ! I’m NO tragedy! There are merciless killings, hate, greed…these cancers are the worst! I have glory waiting! I don’t know where I’d be without FAITH, family, and friends. We are all battling something…may we continue to seek truth and accept the simplicity of a love we receive from a Father who loves us…no matter what! I can imagine! 💕🎶🎶🎶

Guys, I just want to tell you that this song is really ministering to my spirit - there'll be no more pain, no more suffering when we believers are taken to our eternal home. Just sheer joy and awe to be in Jesus's Presence - worshipping and dancing, etc. How amazing is the grace that the Lord gave us!! I'm playing this video so many times - it really is an anointed song! Thank you for this. I lost my dad to cancer last year after having only been diagnosed 6 weeks earlier. My siblings and I cared for him at home around the clock due to Covid. It was one of the most meaningful times because we were able to spend some really precious moments together; moments we would not have had, had it been a sudden loss. So often the words "I love you" just flip off our tongues and we take for granted that we'll have more time together with the ones we love. But in the time we had left with my dad, those "I love you's" were said with a purpose. My dad became unresponsive in his last week, and it was one of the most traumatic and intensely difficult times in my life as I sat by his bedside that week, waiting for the moment he would take his last breath. But, at the same time, there was a peace knowing he was running safely into the arms of Jesus. My dad loved gardening, and it brings me such comfort to know that one day I will see him again, and we will dance together through Heaven's flower gardens, and bow together at the feet of Jesus. I can only imagine.....

Almost 12 years ago we had to make the gut wrenching decision to turn off life support for my mom, we played “I can only Imagine” as she was taking her last breaths here on earth she was meeting Jesus face to face because of our faith in God we were comforted imagining that moment for our mom

We had to make the same decision for my mom in Dec of 2009, and this song brought so much comfort- even though the tears were pouring as I listened to it driving home from the hospital. Smiling through the tears because of the hope of Heaven 💗

This incredible arrangement of possibly the greatest song ever written is only magnified by your beautiful voices singing in a venue like this captivating place. I don't know who arranged and shot this video but it is masterful! Hearing this beautiful vocal blend between the two of you and the incredible Nathan Pacheco and watching you stand in reverence before these statues of Jesus while listening to you sing "will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I fall" has such a powerful emotional impact. My adult single son lived next to us. He was my best best friend. We would get a pizza & watch a movie on Friday night. "I can only imagine" was the last movie we watched. At the end when J. Michael Finley sang...Tears were running down my Ben's face. He died 3 days later. How I cherish that moment.

Thank you for such a beautiful song. We have to remember that Jesus is around us all the time. All we need to do is praise him and thank him for looking after us. In a way the music, love and peace you give us is helping us all on our way. Can I ask anyone that can say a prayer. I am going through a difficult time with one of my son's at the moment. This comment is for you Debbie May and for Mat & Savanna. I listened to their recordings of the Prayer and also Keep Him Safe about 7 months or so ago. Those songs continue to help me and now this new one will add a third one that will help me as I listen to them several times during each month that passes. Here are my comments some months ago. I hope they are helpful to you going through the same als condition with your loved one. Well Mat and Savanna, I just replayed The Prayer again after listening to it many times along with most all of your others. This is what got it started for me. I recently watched this one showing you returning from your military service and greeting your young child. It made me think of my returning from Vietnam and seeing my wife and my little 18 month old boy. That little boy is now 51 years old and recently got diagnosed with an aggressive form of als giving him six to 18 months to live. Listening to your music gives peace, so replaying The Prayer today and watching your homecoming one was an emotional journey for me but a comforting one. Thank you.

Took my breath away. On August 16, 2021 at 3:50 pm, my 84 year old beautiful mother took her last breath here on earth. I was holding her hand, sobbing, because I couldn’t imagine life without her, but in that moment a calming peace filled my broken heart. I knew she was now with Jesus, and I knew he welcomed her with open arms. As we approach our one year without her here, I am hopeful that I will again feel that calming peace because missing her has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. I will play this song on that day to remind me that she is standing in the presence of our Savior, and that I will see her again someday. Thank you again for filling my heart with pure joy on this beautiful day!

Wow!!! The harmonies were incredible!! The setting perfect (I love that garden in thanksgiving point, so inspiring.) my favorite moment was when you all stood still looking at the Savior carrying the cross. 😭 I can only imagine.

This song always gives me goosebumps. Now, add perfect three-part harmony and a wonderful acoustic guitar and I AM in Heaven! Also, the scenery and the artworks are so beautiful. Matt , Savannah and Nathan, you and your amazing crew have all outdone human perfection with one! Now to put it on repeat.....and face another day of packing up the house contents to move...still don't know where. Thank goodness God does! Thank you Matt and Savannah. My mom had a massive stroke a few days ago and our family needs to make some decisions. This beautiful song put it all in perspective for me. I’ve been listening to your songs since day one and the beauty, love and faith in your voices is doing more healing in the world than you know.
