I lost about 80% of my hair after I came home from the hospital with Covid. The nurses told me to expect it…but I had not idea how much hair I would lose. I went through so much with Covid-I coded twice, was intubated, I was on speech, occupational, and physical therapy after I came home. But, losing my hair was devastating…once it started growing back, it’s healthy, thick, and CURLY!

How long did it take for your hair to grow back after Covid hairloss?? I'm currently going thru this. I had really bad Covid in July. I started losing 2 months after recovery. It continues to fall out in handfuls. I already had fine thin hair before and I've lost about 60-70% now. It's also dry and brittle despite taking exceptional care of my hair my whole life. Please tell me there's hope. I want to cry every time I have to wash my hair. Its beyond devastating 😔

I suffered horrible hair loss after I stopped taking control birth pills. I have enver regained my "old"hair since then now matter what😢 You didn't say one imoprtant thing: hair loss not related to genetics will normally take around three months to stop and it's related to hair growth cycle.This is important because very often people attribute this hair loss stop after three months to some treatment and spread false hope that it works while their hair stopped falling because of natural reasons!! There is a lot of marketing around this topic and science only clearly supports Minoxidil(or similar). People swear by "their" methods and if you suffer hair loss you will spend a lot of money without even thinking it through in the hope of getting things better. Companies know that and they take advantage of if. As an influencer you hold a great responsability and I beg you not to recommend things lightly because I am sure that many of your followers will buy everything you mentioned in this video, cute biotin gummies included...guys, biotin would help you only if your hair loss is related to biotin shortage in your body, which, is pretty rare btw.

The lightest known oil is argan oil, which is what I use. Also, only use a small amount on your hair. If you still have fly aways get a hair mist that has silk protein or some other protein to smooth it without weighing it down.

Before anyone spends money on expensive led helmets or even potions and serums... Go see a dermatologist! I was diagnosed with a form of alopecia (lichen planopilaris) and no helmet or serum was going to help with that. My hair is gone for good and the only thing is treatment to try to get it under control to prevent future hair loss.

I’ve been dealing with hair loss due to severe medical illness/chronic health conditions for years now…💔🙏🏻 I’ve lost 80% of what I had. It got to a point where my mom bought me the I Restore for my 25 birthday, and I’ve been using it for a year and have to say it has made a HUGE difference ❤❤❤ I don’t use it alone though. I have been using the Veganour scalp serum for multiple years, I use K18 to keep my hair strong (not a hair growth product), and I just started using the Vegan Nutrafol supplement! I also take iron pills and lead a healthy plant based diet… but also have had some very stressful family trauma 😢 so it’s been rough. We can only do what we can. Your videos give me so much hope. You are not alone. We are doing our best and we are worthy ♥️♥️♥️

There's a running joke in my family that there's always balls of my hair in every room of my house. I shed too much. I used to have thicker hair than my mum. My hair was 3 times the density of hers...its now about 1/3 the density. Its horrible to know im losing so much hair .

Over the years I've struggled with my hair shedding A LOT at various intervals... in 2020 it was the worst (I never got covid as I was isolating myself so hard) I was living alone in the states and my husband was in the UK (we had just gotten married in February and the pandemic threw all of our plans to reunite out the window for years) ANYWAY I would brush my hair and it was like I could make an actual wig from the hair that would come out. I was always crying about it but didn't have the means to do anything about it. It did slowly stop shedding so much over time but it still hasn't returned to its original thickness, and in 2022 I had another bout of extreme shedding/thinning that was very distressing. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Theses are the only new products I've added to my routine. AND WOW. I noticed a difference the very next day, after only using the cleanser followed by the serum in the am. When i washed my face the next morning, my skin was baby soft. Like ive never had that EVER in my life. Im seriously impressed with your recommendation, and will now use you as a reference from now on. So thank you from the bottom of my heart, for what you do. If hair loss is caused by extreme low protein in diet and/or very low iron- that will be what your body needs to regrow hair. Had my blood ferritin (iron) checked & protein done through my doctor- I had lost 40% of my hair and after increasing protein to 100 grams a day & taking Thorne Iron per doctors orders- my hair is back to normal. Red light won’t do anything for you if you have nutrient deficiencies.

It would be interesting if you covered ayurvedic hair care. When I was young my grandmother would sit me down 3x a week or 4 in the winter and would go through my hair paper thin section by paper thin section applying a mix of ayurvedic oils and then massage my scalp. Come high school we moved to a different area and those massages and oils stopped, my stress levels skyrocketed, and my hair went from healthy thick and fast growing to fine and thin and constantly shedding so much. I’ve seen studies done on this practice and I wonder what your thoughts are on it

I clean my brush every day to monitor my hair loss. Before the pandemic I saw a photo of me in which a side of my head showed thinning of hair. The sun was bouncing off my scalp. Minoxidil, the one for men (I'm not paying more for less active ingredient) worked for me. I also stepped down from a stressful job, not because of the hair loss but because I felt I wanted to die and had no energy. That did the trick.

@@scienceislove2014 I was talking in general, and in this regard her advice is correct: schedule an apointment if you notice some of those symptoms and they persist. Unfortunately, there are cases when even docs don't listen to their patients and don't get any labs. That's extremly frustating because one has the right to advocate for their health :/
@AllyKit
@AllyKit 20 күн бұрын
Yes, that is the first place to start for everyone. Lab work is cheaper than a red light helmet, even if you don't have insurance. For some of us, it's due to auto immune disorder and nothing is going to help that except steroids - injections, topical creams or worse case oral. All of my labs came out normal (vitamin D, B12, iron, thyroid etc) but the ANA test was high. So a helmet, PRP or even minoxidil is a waste for me. Steroid injections worked to keep my body from attacking itself. Please everyone go to a derm and ask for blood tests as well as scalp biopsy before laying out cash for these OTC treatments.

I’ve had two bouts of telogen effluvium in my life the second one being much worse than the first. It happened after a really bad breakup from an abusive relationship and amount of hair I was noticing was coming out in the shower was concerning to say the least. But the real shock was when I took a pic of the back/top of my head and was horrified to see so many bald slots!! I also had one right on my part in the front so that was difficult to cover. My self esteem was at an all time low not only from the hair loss but also from the aftermath of that awful relationship ending and me rebuilding my life. Once I slowly started to heal and get my life back together the hair stopped falling out and along with just trying to take better care of myself. My hair did eventually fully grow back but I will say I’m always scared of it happening again!!

Hair loss can also be due to a medical issue so it's important to get a full thyroid blood tests done. Hormones test because much DHT will cause hair follicles to shrink and thus hair loss.DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) Is not just a male thing, PCOS can cause higher level of Androgens to be free in our blood. Saw palmetto can help lower DHT. Always best to first find out the cause before spending money on expensive treatments and tools. It's stressful and a feeling of urgency to fix it can make us vulnerable to spending huge amounts. But getting hormones checked being Thyroid and free Testosterone and DHT and Estrogen to. Check iron levels, Vit D levels and B12. Investigate your own health and push your Dr to take it seriously. A irestore is not going to fix a problem with hairloss or thinning if you don't fix the root cause be it health or Hormones out of balance.

Good question. All she seems to say negative about the Pro is that it's scratched lol. That is not a reason to lay out all that cash for a new one if the old one still works! If you can't sit in your home for 25 min every other day, maybe stress is the reason for the hair loss - in which case it will grow back on its own. Who takes a helmet with them to wear in the car for 12 minutes?? I love the rollerblading chick in the ads. You need to rethink your whole life if you can't sit still long enough to fit this in your schedule at home. Maybe meditate? Watch a KZfaq video? Pick up a book??

There are ways to reduce or avoid post partum hairloss! I had chronic telegen effluvium for years and only managed to get it under control a few months prior to pregnancy by starting the irestore, improving my diet, and supplementation. I used it the whole pregnancy and so on to avoid post partum hairloss. I also use act + acre cold processed stem cell serum (started about 3 months prior to the birth.) It has great reviews for reducing & stopping pp hairloss. There's a lot of junk out there, but I bought this based off some studies I read about procyanidin b2 extracted from apples. It seems extremely effective for hair regrowth and preventing loss when used orally or topically. Although, it's damn near impossible to buy this vitamin anywhere. This vitmaim can also be found in apple polyphenols. The hair serum's active ingredient is Swiss apple stem cells! So I thought maybe it'd work. I have to say my hair's the best it's been in years! You can also used rosemary + peppermint essential oil diluted in carrier oil of your choice as well. I slept with this on my scalp every other night and washed out in the morning. I've been doing that for years, so I think it's effects are very minimal on me. But worth a shot! Also make sure your diet is as good as possible & take lots of vitamins. Your nutrient stores can become depleted during and after pregnancy ,especially during breast feeding. So stalk up. Take vitamin d and dha (fish oil or algae.) Vitamin d supplements must be taken in the morning, not at night. I used solarray and it did increase my levels, verified via blood test. I take nordic naturals prenatal dha. It's very important for the baby's brain development! Continue indefinitely or at least through breast feeding. Ask your doctor about iron, we loose a lot of blood post partum. Don't drink caffeine within two hours of consuming iron rich foods or supplements, as it blocks the absorption. Taking iron with vitamin c increases absorbtion. Stay on the prenatal post partum, and the entire time breast feeding. Most importantly do you best not to stress. There's so much more but these are some basics that have helped me immensely! I hope it helps you.

I’m so glad you made this video!! I have very long, thick hair and it sheds SO much, at least 4-5 handfuls when showering. It clogs the drain after EVERY shower. I was never concerned about it until I started seeing other people be concerned about losing half of a handful of hair and that got me thinking, “wait, should I be worried?!” But I guess that’s just normal for me!!

Sorry Cassandra but veganism might be the cause. Humans are omnivores, some b vitamins and certain chains in omega 3 fatty acids do not exist in vegan diets, your mental health is also affected by the lack of these nutrients.

at this point it most likely is the cause, as there is such a difference between the oldest videos on this channel and then the latest ones. humans are at the very least obligate omnivores.

You are clearly trying to sell the Irestore and that disappoints me. Watching your videos you had corrected your hairloss by taking vitamin D and Iron which you were low on and which are a lot of times the reason people are losing their hair. As someone who suffers from hairloss for that reason, you can't say that only using Irestore will give you the after pictures you are showing and that is false hope.

what a dumb take, sis. She's hasn't said that the irestore is all it takes. Maybe you can start watching the videos more than once so you make sure you take in the info properly. or slow down the videos

cassandra you have to stop. you need to eat oysters, sardines, and some pasture raised eggs. this is really concerning and plunking down almost $2,000 for a hair regrowth helmet and thousands of dollars wasted on other lotions and potions is not going to fix this.

And how would I ever have the money, to buy even ONE SINGLE THING, of all these things that actually do work & help you to get your hair back?! I’m not an influencer that gets soo many free things from all kinds of (mostly expensive & exclusive) brands every day in the week or earning several hundred thousands SEK every week, just bc I have uploaded some stupid & meaningless videos on social media… I have never the slightest chance to actually buy anything of these products you always recommend @CassandraBankson, so now I’ll unsubscribe bc I can’t stand see everything anymore 😭💔
