I had a Hantu trying the 15x challenge and it was terrifying.

I've had a deo on 24x difficulty and I was able to loop it but it was terrifying.

I thought the same way as you did about discouraging people from just farming bones for money. After a few days, I realized it matter more that players should be more encouraged to get the ghost right (say, maybe increasing the amount you earn from a correct guess.) Outside of that, it’s just a different mind set on how people play the game. They shouldn’t really be discouraged for it, especially in a strict player vs environment game like this.

I outran a Deo with 24x Challenge. It was terrifying though. It was also pitch black and I couldn't see a thing as I looped the Deo from the entrance to the left room around the table. I thought I was dead but I lived. And I did it twice.

Me and a friend played yesterday and had a obaku on intermediate tanglewood. Lots of ghost events no hunts and man it was creepy! Ghost appeared right in front of me when I thought it was hunting!

insym says that a deogen would be impossible, but it really wouldn't be, even with the slowest speed, you're still slightly slower, which actually makes the deogen the easiest ghost to do the 24x challenge on as long as you have a map with an easy loop. If a base speed for players is 1.6 m/s, 50% of that would make the player move at 0.8 m/s A deogen's base speed when it's near a player is 0.6 m/s, which means with a 50% increase, it'd be 0.9 m/s if you were going in a straight stretch with no obstacles, it'd catch you at some point, however, anything that gets in it's way slightly will actually make it so the ghost can NEVER get to you in time before the hunt ends to actually kill you

The biggest what if of Phasmophobia at this time - Deo-Hantu crossbreed.

The 24x difficulty is a real challenge and you can only beat it if you are very skilled at the game :D I have managed to complete it once with a wraith on sunny Meadows, including all objectives and the ghost photo. It was very scary but I eventually beat it

The new custom challenges were built for the King of Phasmo...and they are so intense and fun at the same time. The Banshee scream in Grafton at the end was it's own reward.☺

About the cheese strats for the bone, I actually think that's far from the cheesiest strat as there are still many ways you can die before reaching the bone. By far the cheesiest strat is to use the 24x modifier, go to sunny meadows with 2 smudges and 1 lighter, wait for the hunt and see if the ghost is relatively obvious. There is at least a 50% chance that you'll guess the ghost from the hunt alone, barely even scout the map and get a 1200$ payout. Or even cheesier, is to just load a game of Sunny Meadows on 24x difficulty and leave. Loading times decrease due to cached information, so you could easily do 50 runs per hour and with only 24 ghosts in the game, that means that on average, you get 2400$ an hour by basically doing nothing. Doing the bone, even on the smallest maps and 100% sanity has the chance of an early hunter and/or your sanity being drained quick enough for a hunt to start before you leave. And even if successful, due to the extra time it takes, you'd "only" earn 3000$ per hour, assuming you never die. If you die even once, especially if you bring items, it will affect your net gains quite significantly. I don't think it's possible to remove cheesy ways of earning money, because you can always hide in Sunny Meadows and guess the ghost by hunts, and get a 6-7k$ payout per hour while only brining smudge sticks and not really anything else

What they should do with the bone is instead of a reduction, put the bone in a separate category like the photos so you only get $10 for small maps and $30 for big maps. You still get money, just not 20x or whatever

every ghost should have a speed that is 1, 2, or 3 (or ratched hunt length with map size) speed based on what size map it is. Since huge speed and huge hunt length mean it could walk over every inch of the house in a hunt. I love the gamestate. Just a thock edit: OR there could be a small innate move speed increase for all players on large maps.

This might sound like a stupid question, but if you activate the Summoning Circle with zero grace period, is that just an instant bad time? I'm not sure if, code-wise, there is a difference between the period of time a ghost stands in the circle and the usual grace period

one cheeky thing they could do is cut the rewards of secondary by 50% when you dont get the ghost on custom diffictulties

Funny how I didn’t see it happen this game, so I guess I’ll inform you here. The hantu is so broken fast, on small maps, it will shoot and clip *Through* the walls and end up out of bounds, eventually disappearing the entire hunt

I hope the same thing for guessing the ghost. The whole point of the game is to figure out what the ghost is but the reward is a bit pathetic compared to everything else. It’s what makes the game so fun, I wish they’d reward you for it or at least punish you for not getting it

Why is the res quality low

Correction: Deogen's are actually slower than you even in 24x multiplier. I've tested it and it's the easiest ghost to get in the Gold Trophy challenge.
