Macaroons are actually a coconut flake cookie that's thick and macarons are French. Macarons and macaroons are used interchangeably, but they are not the same sweet treats at all. Macarons are not made of coconut flakes. Macarons are quite light and melts in your mouth. I hope this info helps. Your hotel suite is fantastic!

at 25:56 when you walk onto the balcony, I had flashbacks of the movie "Pretty Woman" when Julia Roberts is sitting on the rail and Richard Gere asks her "Please get down" and she laughs at his cautiousness and concern and puts her arms up and says "Look! No Hands!" I love the lobby and the bar with the tapestry! omg..I need to go there.

Years ago when my son was in high school, a teacher once asked for all the A and B students in the class to stand, (leaving C and D’s to sit). The teacher the said to the A &B students , meet the people you will be working for!!! Success is more than just being book smart!!!

If it's your first time into Paris, I kind of don't recommend the Eurostar into Paris from London - or anywhere. - it's just not the first glimpse of Paris that ppl should see upon exit from the station - it's just super crowded and not really the Paris one has in mind. Just a lovely city though the last time I went, it was just so super-overcrowded.

The Peninsula is gorgeous! That's my dream bathroom. I love the black laquer (?) look. I would love to stay there one day! I was also very impressed with the smaller room at the..did you say Storage House? That's in London? Both of these places appeal to me.

Japanese TOTO washlet automatic toilet is everywhere in Japan even in economy hotel, and has already been the standard for luxury hotel in Asia, bidet is lagging behind, Europe's luxury hotel should be equipped with this automatic toilet. By the way, the luxury hotel in Europe the room is are very very small, in Asia, the entry level room for luxury brand hotel is 50 sqm, this is the junior suite in Europe!!

I have stayed at The Peninsula a few times , however never been my favourite hotel in Paris as even for business as its not very relaxing and a bit dare I say pretentious !
