Tim , we started our adventure of moving January 2022, sold the house , took down my old layout, purchased a new house, demolished main floor, building a new layout, building a new kitchen, not there yet but we are getting there, new layout for you, new home for you and your family, you get there , we will get there, but it is a great adventure, lots fun as Mike says keep it on the tracks , Merry Christmas to you and your family

R.I.P Tim Central Station. Fantastic update and fantastic video. I watched the house tour as hosted by your wife, and despite the pain of decommissioning your old layout, I think the new venture ahead will make it totally worth it. Congratulations and have an amazing 2023!!

Congratulations on the new house and layout space. Always tough to take apart an old layout. But think of all the stuff you have learned to improve the new layout.

I’m in the same boat, my partner and I just moved and I haven’t taken apart my layout to move it yet. Have mixed feelings about dismantling it but I think starting new is the best idea. Great video and looking forward to the new build!

Congrats on getting a new place! I've done a move once when my kiddo was 1. Yeah that was fun. As for the old layout, see if someone local wants it or maybe see if OVR Trains wants it for a display layout in his hobbyshop? Only if you knew how many layouts I tore out....lol. - Jason

I understand this dilemma. The rescued N Scale door layout here is in the way of the(Up coming)HO Scale shelf module GO Transit/CN switch layout. Not sure what to do with the Bridges of Edison County. Still undecided. Good luck on the move Tim.

Great video and tutorial about plans to move and disassembly of your old layout. I'm sure it was a stressful thinking process. Just think of the miles out on the old layout. It’s been all over the place. Sad day but it will be worth it. Now you can take what you learned and go bigger and better. Can I help ? Lol
