@@Yomi2012 depends on the iteration, we changed it over here cuz it's weird to have 2 young boys like eachother in a children's show. Works better as a female originally as well, but design-wise, the clashing masculine and feminine halves are great. Would make sense lore-wise if the reason for it was the dub and sub version of the character merging

Another scary thing about Nightmare Pain is the opponent takes the battle damage first before Yubel's burn effect proc, which means this card can make the Yubels (the ones with burn effect of course) deal double damage in the opponent's turn :D

Nightmare pain effect is important because it return battle damage but the fusion boss monster inflicts it. -> So you basically deal double damage of opp. monster.

You can also run a small sacred beast engine. The level 2 searcher can let you normal the Lotus retrain since it's a 0 ATK fiend, and the spell searcher can revive it from GY for some extension. After all, yubel did use the sacred beasts in the anime and the new support has continuous spell/traps

2 things 1-Neos Klugger and fusion deployment can summon Yubel 2- Elemental Hero Infernal Rage can search a Favorite card like eternal favorite,Xtra hero infernal devicer can add Neos and Yubel to Poly fuse into Klugger

0:58 I think that Yubel in the artwork, is from the previous life, right after she decided and became Jaden(Juudai)'s bodyguard (lover, stalker, yandere wife, Makima... whatever). Then, Jaden has reincarnated at the timeline we know in the anime.

I think the combo is with nightmare pain to pop the yubel monsters to summon their evolution to gain the counters for mature chronicle. Then, eternal favorite let’s you summon the yubel monsters from the Gy looping the yubel evolutions over and over again.

Ok, it should be either "Yubel-Der Wächter der ewigen Liebe", "Yubel-Die Wächterin der ewigen Liebe" or "Yubel-Wächter der ewigen Liebe" (1st one male and gender neutral, 2nd one female, 3rd one shortened and male/neutral) Unless they want it to sound more like poetry? But even then it should "Yubel-Der ewigen Liebe Wächter"
