Stg the modders for Total War and Minecraft are so under appreciated and go above and beyond for the games they love

Modders for TW are just godly creatures.

Problem is that my 400%boosted cataphracts will probably be 4 times worse :(

This mod sounds so complicated in scale, that I'm surprised the creators didn't experience burn out while they were working on it.

Now all we need is the Banner Lord so we can fight in the battles as well

I havent looked too much into this one, but it is just like the mod Crusader Blade (I assume it's the same modderd) but uses Bannerlord's battle mode. It is amazing now that you can choose either or for it.

Game studios have sucked most of the life and soul out of the art of video game creation. I made a video game once as a passion project several years ago. Its tough buddy. It was me, by myself, using a game engine (which I had to purchase the rights to use) and its tools as a foundation to build upon to make my dream come true. It was hell, but it was love. I couldn't imagine getting paid enough to do that for a game studio, being forced to sacrifice potential for the sake of arbitrary marketing metrics and the whims of directors and big wigs and whatever the CFO thought was better "for the business", especially in this era of constant DLCs and Expansions and micro transactions. Ugh.

When you realize that 85% of the combat will be your troops standing at the gate cause you'll wait for the attrition to go 100% while making a siege.

me and my dev friends were talking about this just the other night lol there are geniuses out there truly. Keeping an abandoned game alive for nothing but users and modders own need for experience. amazing and wow.

u have to have both games running there's one for banner lords as well and u have to have both games running

Its really cool this exists, I personally enjoy the simplicity of the way battles resolve in paradox games. The games natural cadence flow is much slower and methodical than total war, to me adding the spammy nature of RTS battles just kills the session vibe for me.

I just wish somebody could make a game thats like a combination of Crusader Kings 3 & Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. A game thats just like Crusader Kings 3 but also has fighting gamepkay so you can actually fighr the wars & sieges.

They really are compliments of each other. Total War has always had that soft realm/family build to it. While CK3 is missing any meaningful battle play
