Then with the stuff in the way, the table wasn’t put back and shelves went up to hold the stuff and the table gets pushed up near the wall. At least that’s how it would work out for me😂

It is supported, and hinges on top of a few 4x4 posts about 8" high. Its about 300 lbs or so, so it takes a bit to hinge it up, but once its up I use a few wood screws with fender washers on them and screw them through pre-existing holes that are in the deck of the lift. Works like a charm. I have a fold down work table on that same wall that folds down and hides the motorcycle lift. Thanks for the idea! 🍻

There's two problems with this. Problem 1: It will always be cluttered with junk, so you won't be able to readily fold it up as intended. Problem 2: In the rare event that you DO clean it off and fold it up - the area it would occupy when unfolded will fill up with clutter and then you won't have room to unfold it and use it. Nice try though.
@johnsellers96237 ай бұрын
Man I guarantee you work or have worked in a shop, because over the years when you always run out of work bench space and build another one, it never fails to happen that no matter how many workbenches you have they always become junk collectors. I had a boss that loved me and my work. I could do no wrong with him. But when I said I wanted to build a workbench, he said John clean anyone of the benches you want to and you can have it. They are nothing but junk collectors, pretty soon you won’t be able to move around in here with another one. He was so right.
