@@absolumzenith899 I used the term "they" loosely. Meaning the editor of the video, etc. That said, I wouldn't say Joe's lick at the beginning wasn't anything like Cliffs of Dover. There was a slight similarity, but that's besides the point of my post. My point is that the OP said he hears Cliffs of Dover licks and I'm like...well, yeah, duh.

For those unaware, the last guitar is what they call a B-Bender. When the neck is moved downward, it causes the b string to go up in pitch. Jimmy Page was well known for using one.
@wesleyalan91795 ай бұрын
The strap is held in place by the strap button, the strap button is what actually moves up an down, its connected to a contraption inside the guitar that's connected to the B string.

I met Joe a couple of years ago in Omaha, NE at Hargiss Stringed Instruments. I walked into the shop and Joe was sitting by the counter playing a vintage dobro. He spoke with everyone there as equals without any pretense or arrogance whatsoever - as though we were all just a bunch of guys hanging out at the guitar shop. He really is just as humble and friendly as any video I've ever seen of him. He puts on no heirs and treats everyone with respect. GREAT GUY!! (And he made arrangements for about ten really GOOD seats at his concert that evening. BONUS!)

@@lueyteledeluxe7457 And don't shit on that "Just an Epiphone Sig" because it's a great guitar in its' own right, regardless of whose name is on it, both sig and on the headstock. Remember that Epiphone pretty much kept Gibson alive for the past nearly 2 decades, especially during their financial restructuring, when Epi were producing guitars as good, if not at times better quality than what Gibson was producing...especially the MIJ Elitist models, while Gibson under Henry J. was often pumping out guitars with questionable at best QC; basically expensive firewood. Epis were so good during that period that Gibson halted production on them because they were totally being outdone...and now with Epi's Inspired By Gibson line, including this JB Sig, they're doing it again.
