Teflon tape (white tape) wrapped around the male end of the junction will stop the leaks from happening. It molds to the contours and will still allow the two ends to screw together pretty easily. One or two wraps around the end will do.

I was getting ready for my Sunday morning dosage of you guys and as soon as I mentioned “Occy”, my two girl’s “Lady”(Aussie) and “Bear”(Jindo), ran into my RV and jumped up onto their cot to get their Sunday morning weekly dosage of “Occy!” 😍I wish you could post photo’s in the comment section! We are camping ⛺️ out on my 2 1/2 acres in my RV taking in all of your beautiful scenery! 😂 Me and the girls really enjoy your vids❣️👍🏼

I was born in Ecuador and was adopted at 2 then raised in OH. I have never been back and don't know much about Ecuador so I have enjoyed your videos so much. It makes me feel a little closer to the place where I was born!

That video was one of your best. Ecuador looked magical, and I really enjoyed seeing you guys just doing some of the simpler things in the van. Equador is magical, so many highlights: Loved the llama play and accompanying music; drone footage of getting the van into the camp spot (good thing you don’t walk in your sleep) ; kayaking brought back memories and I loved Occy’s participation; Max blending in with the fog in his coordinated gray outfit; Lee caressing pooped Occy; can of pasta sauce from Mexico!!!; I love Chaiwalla Chai too, need to reorder; competitive board games are the best, you’ll get him next time Lee (at least he doesn’t rub it in...🤫); Occy sleeps in his travel spot, how cute); Covey memories, I was in the front row at one of his workshops back in the mid 90s and remember seeing him standing there commanding us to point to ‘true north’ ; beach time with Occy and fellow van dwellers. I saw my friend Carlos from Columbia this morning-the White City is his home town- and he asked about you.

Our family hosted an exchange student through Rotary 6 years ago. He was from Ambato, Ecuador and I keep hoping to get there because he said that you can experience so much there. If you guys like Chai tea, try this recipe. I use to carry a container of it with me when I did bicycle tours around the country. When ever I stayed with a host family with a high speed blender, I would make up a batch for them an me. Probably the hardest thing for you to find is tea and creamer. Alternatives would be to take tea leaves and blend them till they powderize and use powdered coconut milk instead of creamer. Or double the dry milk if you can find a vanilla bean to blend with it. Chai Tea Mix 1/2 cup nonfat instant dry milk powder 1/2 cup vanilla flavored dairy creamer 1/2 cup powdered sugar or 4 Tblspn of regular sugar or 2 Tsp of stevia powder 1 cup unflavored instant tea mix 1 Tblspn ground ginger 1 Tblspn ground cinnamon 1 Tblspn ground cloves 1 Tblspn ground cardamom 1 Tblspn ground nutmeg 1 Tblspn allspice 2 dashes of ground pepper Put in high speed blender (magic bullet) and blend well for 30-60 seconds until everything is powderized and blended well

Hi Guys, love your adventures, reminds me of travelling in a 1984 Toyota coaster I converted to a camper, had many adventures with my partner for 12 years of living in a bus. We met many beautiful people, filmed the journey with video cameras & still photos, editing was a long process with that old format. Had a motor bike & boat on the back. Was so fortunate to be able to live this life style whilst we were young like yous guys. Occy is a great fun member of your family, wish we had a dog at the time. Keep your adventure going as long as possible. My experiences of our adventure were one of the greatest times in my life. We never had much money but that doesn’t mater the experience is gold. There is no reason telling you that your journey and cinematography is amazing!! The Black Sheep Inn is incredible. Stayed there in 1999 after sleeping on the rim of Quilotoa and hiking the long way down, way prior to all those roads being there. Great video guys, thanks.

Ecuador is so amazing. I can't believe how beautiful it is but with what you have shown us wow. Lee the Llamas were so cool. I would have had a hard time leaving them too. Lee I think you have a stalker. He has long hair and beard look behind you. Ha. I am very competitive with games unless I am playing with my hubby. I just can't get crazy if it's just him and me. If we are playing in a group. Then it is totally different. Occy you are amazing. I loved Max asking if his outfit matched. Which it did. But that was cute. You guys have some of the best photography out there.

To fix your leaky plumbing, you will need to un-thread the connection that is leaking and then wrap Teflon tap around the male fitting 3-4 times. Then tighten the connection firmly.

I'm so envious of Occy! You guys have become my favorite van lifers. After seeing this video, I think I must add Ecuador to my bucket list. I admit I was a bit worried when I saw how close you parked your van to the edge of the crater; I was thinking, "I hope they set the parking brake. I hope they chocked the tires." What a spectacular country! I have visited Crater Lake several times so it was fun to see your footage though I have not visited with snow on the ground. I'm so glad you went to Crater Lake!! I was born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon and have been to the lake many times. It is beautiful. Thank you for visiting my home state. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada and as they say here, no need to shovel Sunshine. Have Fun :)
