My dad and his best friend were the people that got me into gunpla but since they have better things to do in life they can't really get up to speed very well with the current media there's been alot of times where I showed them a Gundam design or kit where my dad was like "SON YOU/WE NEED TO SAVE UP MONEY AND BUY THIS KIT NOW" first was with the fa thunderbolt Gundam next was with the atlas Gundam after that was the rg nu Gundam a few months after that was the rg hi nu and a month ago when I showed him this he was like "forget it we'll just ask my aunt in Japan to go find us this kit" I think she's like around 65 or 63 but yeah it's awesome to have a dad who loves the same thing as you do

Awe that’s awesome dude 😊 My dad built tank/plane/car kits when he was younger so he shares the same kind of interest but unfortunately life has caught up to him and he has really bad arthritis so he can’t build anymore.

Fun fact: this version of the Nu Gundam (RX-93FF) is canon, Tomino said himself that this one was built after the original was lost during the Axis shock using the leftover parts and data

Ya I just got 9 kits worth 300 some and my shipping was 278. I’m thinking any over seas shipping is like that cuz that’s how hlj is as well. Sometimes eBay is way cheaper and sideseven is a good way to get japense p Bandai and gundam base kits they both are usualy better then buyee but some kits your just gona have to pay that 20-30 dollar shipping to buy below 100 bucks

I just bought it at Thailand Gundam Base. When I saw Gundam Base, I walked straight to it very quickly. I was amazed. There was so many boxes and displays. There was a statue of RX 78 2 aswell

For how simple the Entry Grade is, it's very impresive that this has such great part seperation & color accurancy. If I were to pick 1 version of the RX-93ff ν Gundam, of course I'd go with the RG version.

I'm still hoping for them to release either (or both) the EG Strike and/or Strike Rouge with the full weapon set. There's 4 different weapon versions there (Armor schneiders, shield and rifle, sword, and bazooka). Having a more general version of the Strike Rouge one other than the holiday bucket would mean that you'd have people who already had one or two of the different Strike ones already getting something semi-new for their shelf along with the weapons. There's, I believe only the basic EG Nu and this one so far...

The Alex was to be used by Amuro during the late half of the One Year War, not during CCA. May I remind you that CCA is almost 20 years after the OYW so by UC 0093 the Alex is extremely outdated already.

I very recently (2 days ago as of the time of writing) built the EG Nu Gundam, having backordered it after watching your review of the EG Nu Gundam. The kit is excellent. Colours are great (the yellow is much better in person), the head sculpt is fantastic and the level of detail is very classic but not overly simple. A bit of panel lining, some water-slide decals (I happened to have water-slides for the HG Nu Gundam) and a matte top-coat and the MS looks top class.

Too heavy with fin funnels.. All 6 of them. And even we also can't make the normal Nu with 6 funnels on left side. So we get only one funnel on the back.

Is the 3rd amuro logo on this version the same size as the one for the shield of the normal version? Because I'm very tempted to merge the weapon/shield with it and just store the extra basic Nu away for it. Having the shield and basic rifle would put it as something more "complete" and different enough from the normal versions with the funnels to fit as a separate thing on the shelf.

I know the best option is both since both grades of the Nu Gundam are Gundarium Tier, but if you could pick one, would you pick Entry or Real Grade if you have the budget?
