I also usually don't token the ability but I do the opposite of what you do lugey I look at my lowest stats first and fill up the bottom 2 then split between the top 2.

You put all tokens in their strongest stats then the left over tokens depends on the card. Like with Shawn I'd put all of them on charisma, speed, and toughness. Then I'd put the left overs into the proc. (Ability)
