After trying motorcycle trials for the first time ever 4 weeks ago at Inch Perfect trials, I have been hitting it hard and challenging myself over the past month to progress as much as possible. As a complete beginner I have been perfecting wheelies, stoppies, track stands and a whole host of other basic skills on board my electric motion trials motorcycle. Trials as a sport is all about control, precision and balance.

On those steep loose descents use the grey regen button (or the little regen lever on the clutch). It won’t stop you but it will be a consistent speed, the tire won’t lock and it’s very controllable.

Tom. Yes you did have a person keen to see you putting yourself through trial pace. Now I see you have got the hang of it as Kara had her Mum land on both wheels you are pelting up steps right with similar lands as Kara's Mum getting the hang of it in the landing your trials. Fluidly. Good progress Tom. Know your skills Tom. Was wondering which out the three speeds you are engaged in enjoying. 2 mode. OK! From Craig.

set up some cones to gain slow speed balance speaking from years of riding, and drop some psi out of the rear tyre will help

You need to try a real trials bike, with a clutch. Totally different, much more capable, wind the throttle and dump the clutch

I’ve got a beta evo, the em trials bikes are equally capable believe me! They’re brilliant things. They also have a clutch.it’s not essential to use it but can be used for extra pop.
