Thanks, man! I can’t be 100% sure about the history. For something that isn’t written and recorded, I’d imagine there were parallel progressions of the same trick.

Yer it's recorded on KZfaq ,Trippyspins/cyclones with Drew and Kevin,30sec in.its just like skateboarding story's change over time no one credits the first kick flip to me in front of the bike shed in 1976 it happend😂😂 5 yrs I've been spinning wow I'm old😒

After a year i finally had the trick click in my head. My last video is my first trippy.. err. Well first and second. But yeah.. it took all day then BOOM it clicked. I watched all the videos and tutorials and i ended up doing it a way no one else describe

Get ready to blow thru some props....luckily here in florida by space center we have an abandoned power plant amd 2 huuuge stacks with no obstacles and thats a huge benifit for learning because theyre like 200 feet tall

I learned on the sim. I would fly at the object that you want to trippy spin then roll inverted and look up at the object and start your rotation around it.

Broseph, you're Tripping spinning from the start! With practice it keeps getting better and better - I practiced this for a few hours on the SIM to get the muscle memory down, once i got close enough i head outside and started practicing on a Babytooth..when i realized i could do it, onto my Siren F3, and then the full 5". I haven't been able to fly as often as I've been wanting to these last 2 weeks but the muscle memory is there and I'll def get it down! These guided tutorials help too - i have them play as i practice on the sim

Heads from InfinityLoops espouses the "wonky nips" mindset for the sticks when doing the trippy...if you imagine the onscreen stick display as breasts. Seems to work for a lot of people

Thank you for clarifying what an actual "Trippy Spin" is at the beginning. Calling a Cyclone/Inverted Orbit a Trippy Spin is definitely okay (I do it all the time) but it does make pilots aware that there is an additional layer to the trick by adding the rolls and it's something they can progress towards. The point about practicing your ambidextrous tricks is also super important. I call them Switch Trippies. 😅 Great video as always, bro. I love the content.

This is one I just don't seem to get. Sometimes I can hit it in the floaty ass simulator which means I'm nowhere near making a real attempt.

When i trippy spin and theres support cables i almost always hit it...and rip alot of antennas until i switched to the vannystyle mounth where antenna is right at back of quad at no angle

Great question! Especially as 4:3 will provide a higher vertical FOV! I don’t though, one of my quads is on the 03 AU in widescreen, and the other is a vista in 4:3.

@@Kmart_FPV but the O3 offers 4:3 as well;) it should make the Spin a little easier. But im not in the position to give you advises, you fly a lot better then me^^

It’s valid, I didn’t think the 03 in 4:3 would give more information. I thought it just cropped in the sides

@@Kmart_FPV thats half true;) O3-4:3-mode crops the sides a little, but also enlarges the the vertical FOV a little. but i fly my o3 and avata in 16:9, too, and my OG-AU in 4:3

You’re 100 % right to be skeptical. I’ve worked on them in the sim like crazy. Just never got the courage to try in real life. You’re spot on
