Great fish. So, we dont paddle kayaks anymore? Never seen a kayak with an electric motor in the middle before. Was it custom or can you buy them like that?

Custom mod, the feel free lures have the sonar pod through the middle! I still have the paddle kayaks. This bigger kayak is for travelling further distances and longer days out on the water. the paddle kayaks still get a good run in those hard to get to spots

Amazing patience with that bruh!!! Huge congrats!, I’m looking at getting that kayak. How do you feel about it now you’ve had some time with it, must have mods/additions and should I get the beaver tail if I’m just going to be open ocean paddle fishing Hawaii? Thanks for your time

Thanks mate! Yep they’re great kayaks, I put that electric through the hull and I think it’s a great mod! The beaver tail is a must

Harder to skip cast with the stiffer rod but can go hard on big jacks before my kayak goes into the snags.Got a 51cm model but sure put in some time.

What rod is that,I use zing 10 to20lb 6foot long.

Congratulations on your catch. That’s a combination of tenacity, initiative and persistence. I’m interested in your lure release pole. I find my tackleback hard to use with braid. Do you know what brand it is?

@@JH-nh9xx thanks mate! It’s just a Wilson lure retrieve pole. Did seize up after a few uses but I treat my stuff poorly :(
