I LOVE that Guerlain primer, too!! No one talks about it. Also, a two-step lip prep routine is pretty extra...but I love that for you. :D

Your makeup looks amazing (as always)! Really like that eye shadow on you it’s a lovely shade of bronzey brown and the illia stick looks amazing. May consider getting that when I’ve worked my way through some of my foundations. Trying not to buy new makeup at the moment, wanting to save some money up and use some of what I have. Do love a stick or cream to be able to apply a quick base. Totally agree life is so much more fun when you don’t care too much what other people think of you. Think for me it took me til my late twenties/30s to fully embrace that. I’m never giving up my eye shadows, they just make me happy and brighten my day. Especially wearing a uniform at work every day, eye shadow is the one thing I can use to express myself a bit.

Thank you Nicola! The great thing is the Ilia stick isn't limited edition so it will be there for you whenever and if ever you are ready :) And yes! It took me till my thirties for sure but life is way better when you just live for your own happiness and not the approval of others. I agree about eyeshadow too. I mean why can't we just love some sparkle lol xx

I love eyeshadow! My eyes are smaller I have to make them bigger lol at least eyeliner for sure! I’ve been trying to get to do the blush lipstick thing … I usually just do what I like if something looks cute on me yes not just bc people are doing something nope 🤣🤣🤣… skincare is my everyday time for myself lip combos are my fav to create 🤍🤍🤍

I agree about the baby wing not being very visible but changing the eye shape to less hooded, I use the VB Sea Grey eyeliner every time I do my makeup for this!! 🤩🤩🤩

thing is, about the eyeshadows. i think it was a 9 yr old who said that eyeshadows are for old ppl. and from her perspective i agree, cuz from her perspective everyone over 18 is old. so what she really said was that eyeshadow are for grownups, and with that i agree. love Jo

Beautiful look as usual! Coming from someone who’s crossed this threshold… wait til you get to 40. You truly lose all f#*%s and do whatever you want and it’s so… freeing. I had heard from other people about this age transition for women in particular, and I have to say it’s gloriously true. Loving it so much ❤ and love watching your GRWM!

Aw thank you Alya! Honestly it's my lighting that doesn't show my redness properly. I mean I would say its crazy red but I do have a bit on the cheeks haha I honestly haven't introduced anything new but I have stopped eating sugar so I think that's it. I just knew I would enjoy this video when I clicked. I don’t know why they want to dress in business clothing as casual as if they are working extensive hours like we did in days before offices were so casual. Like they are in their 50s and it’s just a habit from their first real job post university. They don’t do their makeup because it takes time to learn and they know everything and no makeup is easier. 💕 love the look!

Oh gosh hahaha Hmmm... Definitely Natasha Denona My Dream Natasha Lipstick for more neutral leaning and then I think Victoria Beckham Girl or Haus Labs Monster Crayon in Blush Matte for more warmish - but I also have a million more as faves haha xx

I have no idea why anyone of any age can tell others what to wear or do, we all just need to be kind to each other, as the saying goes there are 2 things in life that are certain death and taxes 😊... i will be a colourful sparkling eyeshadow loving girl always.... sure eyelids are more wrinkled the older I get but seriously I don’t care. Age is a privilege some don't get to have.... btw love me a mustard shadow as well

I have to say I don’t like all the cattiness I’m seeing directed at older generations from younger people. It can go both ways but the main trend I see is mocking Boomers and Gen X for any number of dumb reasons. There’s always generational conflict but social media just seems to amplify it.

Yeah I agree. I assume it's always been a thing but now with people filming people in public that don't know they are being filmed to mock them etc I really don't like that especially because with time and maturity they are going to go through the same thing so lets just all be kind to each other. The world is tough enough xx
