Devvon I love your channel, you renewed my love for mixing. But please fix your microphone / chain you use for your videos. You sound like you're in a box, but your old videos do not. When you switched to the mic on your phone, it even pops more than your normal mic. Love you and your content!

I got this microphone for Christmas, but when I went to use it I realized I had no clue what was going on 😂 So I looked it up and am grateful you’ve made this video to explain it. I mean I could’ve figured it out obviously but I’m impatient 😂 It is a little mind-boggling that Apogee doesn’t have the instructions on the box or in a little paper booklet, especially considering how simple it is once you’re told

Thanks for the demo! Sorry, I’m very new to this and a little confused. The song you sang at the beginning, it sounds like that bc of your “template?” Is that something you use in a certain software? Asking bc I livestream via OBS and want to introduce live singing, but when I use VoiceMod for a reverb effect, it adds a significant delay, so my voice is out of sync with the music my live viewers would hear. I need a singing mic that has a *natively* rich sound, without running it through additional software. Would this mic be good for that? I was not really able to tell with just the speaking part of the demo.

Set up tutorial using a DAW? I'm having trouble achieving consistency. I like to monitor mic input but some vocalist don’t. How do I set that up? How do I set up Talkback using Mac’s built-in microphone and have it work in conjunction with the HypeMic? I use Audio Midi Set Up > Audio Devices, but it gives me technical difficulties more often then not. Is there a better way to do this or am I setting up my input and outputs wrong?

I absolutely hate this mic. Whenever I turn off the computer it has another gain level and it cant be the same. While checking with the support I tried several solutions to install the Apogee Audio control panel but it doesnt recognise the microphone. Even while checking on another computer. Did anybody manage to get the control panel to recognise the Microphone? If so, how could you do it?

I’m so hard-pressed to resist buying this USB mic! It’s so awesome of a unit and goes against all that I’ve felt (opposed) towards USB audio input devices. I’m totally blown away by its capabilities AND sound quality!!

I believe hearing “the tool all by itself” was part of the video presentation close to the end of the stream at the 5:45 mark. It’s what convinces me to buy this unit next in my setup.
