I remember when I got a new pair of tennis shoes, I would get my daddy to put them on me for the first time. He would tie them nice and tight and I would get up and run down the street! I’m 73 now and I will always remember that! 😊

It should always be emotional to see your child and their parent bonding. It’s a good emotion but too many families aren’t able to see this, for many different reasons. For example , some dads aren’t “engaged”, some moms aren’t interested, single parent families…so this is precious time!

I had a dad. He and my mom didn't like me much. By the time he came around, in my 40s, he was sick and died too soon. I'll miss him forever and I'm sad I only got to enjoy him for a few years.

The beautiful moment in question happened, mom sees it, and suggests to dad, hey let's reenact it and record- the reenactment so that we can share the beauty - of our family - with the cruel, calloused, almost completely void of love world outside of our home and family in a positive attempt to put a smile on people's faces and touch their heart's.
